ABRP and PlugShare...

Total non-issue with Phoenix in the middle.

I have used the Prescott EA chargers, they work fine. North of Phoenix, there are exactly zero compatible Tesla chargers along I-17, nor in Prescott. Also no CCS chargers between Anthem and Prescott.

On I-17, north side of Phoenix there is one compatible Tesla site (Happy Valley Road), one EA site (Anthem) and one Circle K site (also Anthem). I would use one of those, coming from Tucson.

South/East Tucson? (the additional 45 min does cost a touch of range) I usually run about 72mph on i-10 from Chandler to Golf Links/Houghton (taking the Aviation and Golf Links loop, Ina is shorter but the number of lights make it counter productive). I can make it there and nearly back (need about 8% At Dove Mtn EA charger) to my house at the south edge of PHX. You should be able to get from Tucson to Anthem with no problem. The only problem I see is the climb up Sunset Point (just do 65 and stay in the right lane from about 8 miles before sunset point). The only NACS happy SC I know if is in GLendale, and really no real reason to side track for that. The EA's in Anthem havn't let me down and there's 8 or 10 stalls. Once you exit 169 I can't help as I havn't been to Dewey in almost 20 years.

Also realize and remember the NACS adapter Ford gave you is only for Superchargers (the only place that'll work is in Glendale)For a destination charger (which is the cheapest way to do this trip) would require a different NACS adapter.

There is another SC site right off of I-17, if you have your heart set on using one.

Not true, there are many Tesla Superchargers in Phoenix open to CCS. The one in Glendale is the only site with Magic Docks.

Thanks! Happy Valley seems to be a good choice.

Never have used a supercharger or any charger outside my level 2 at home. Happy Valley maybe has V4. Will NACS adapter Ford sent me work in those?

I'm not in your area, but I do have one suggestion, if you have never used your NACS adapter/Tesla charging, go to a local Tesla charging station and try it out just so you know how it works.

Very good point. I hadn't looked since, I guess before I even got my NACS adapter. Looking at the Tesla site there's many a CCS in PHX. Nothing north of it though (the place I'd actually need it)

You should probably enable Plug & Charge in the FP app and make sure you have a valid CC on file so it functions properly. It will make this trip much easier for you if you use EA or Tesla charging stations.

Before you leave for your trip I would also recommend going to an EA and Tesla charging station local to you and use them. It will help you get familiar with the process of using a DCFC and it will also let you if your P&C is setup correctly.
