This past weekend my wife and I took her 2025 MME for a trip to Vermont. We pulled into Twin State Ford in St Johnsbury to utilize there DCFC. We plugged in and waited for the charging to start for 5 min, nothing. After reading the instructions on the charger it noted that we need to open Ford Pass and choose the place, charging station name, and side number on the charger, after doing this charging started. We did the same thing on the way home at Grappone Ford in Concord NH, had to go through the same thing, no plug and charge.
Shouldn’t the chargers at a Ford dealer be Plug and Charge Compatible? I know don't assum anything!
What happened to “Plug and Charge”?
Plug and charge was/is setup in Ford pass with a CC, is there a setting in the car that needs to be set? My wife told me that the salesperson walked her through setting up Plug and Charge, but you know how that goes.
I have used plug and charge on my 2023 MME with no issues.
Any suggestions on what to check to make sure its set up correctly?
