Bluecruise question: My dealer did a series of software updates in an attempt to solve some glitch under warranty. It has brought my car a bit more up to date and on sync 23352. Since this was all done though FDRS, Bluecruise is still not enabled. Could someone advice which modules / software versions I have to check to see if I at least have the correct software now, before possibly going the Forscan route (to which I have access).

The IPMA would have to be on the BAE strategy for you to have the firmware needed for BC 1.3 to work.

I've had the recall software update and HVAC-25.26 , curious as to what modules still have updates available in FDRS for VIN 3FMTK3R75PMA11779 . Debating if its worth going the Mongoose route and update remaining modules or just hope they come OTA. Thanks!

Just bought how long ago? When you check for updates in the touchscreen, what happens? The reason I ask is because you've had OTA 10.1.0 sent to you several times, but it keeps timing out and expiring because the vehicle is not pinging the server back to accept it. If they car has been sitting for a while, that would explain it. The last OTA trigger expired just yesterday.

Here's the list of available updates in FDRS...you'll notice that your APIM will not update until the TCU (telematics modem) is updated first:

You have an open FSA (CSP 25P25) and these are the technical instructions on what to look for and what to do if this film is still on your vehicle's antenna plate. This is something you probably want the dealer to do.

It is now showing a different screen so hopefully it updates. Is there anything I can do to get it update?

You can schedule your car in for CSP 25P25 and while it's in there you can tell them your TCU has failed to update three separate times as an OTA and you'd like them to update it using FDRS. There is a specific labor code that they can use to do this under warranty.

I was wondering why my AM radio wasn't working very well on some stations. This has to be the reason. Thanks for the info. I have no clue on some of your technical data you gave me but I will contact my local dealer.

That's what I thought might be the case. To fix that, disconnect the negative cable from the 12v battery in the frunk for 20 minutes and reconnect it. Check for updates again and it should make it past the spinning pinwheel.

Edit: I really need to get into the habit of reading the entire post before I respond.
