Just had recall #25S65 - 12V battery done but I don’t think it was done correctly. Can someone check my software status?

VINS:
3FMTK4SE1NMA21950
3FMTK3R70PMA95901
They did do the update on 21950 and got a valid software verification code on the 30th of Sep.
Here's the list of available software for that VIN today:
Ford Mustang Mach-E Post here if you have an active FDRS account and are willing to look up info for others 3FMTK4SE1NMA21950-7-Oct-25

You do have a GVMS data warning of the ABS module which is a little odd.

On the gray car (95901) you have a shorter list:
Ford Mustang Mach-E Post here if you have an active FDRS account and are willing to look up info for others 3FMTK3R70PMA95901-7-Oct-25

But the powertrain software was updated correctly on this car as well (right after they finished the black car) and they received a valid software verification code for this one when they finished.

It may take time for the alert to clear from Fordpass. Sometimes the dealership warranty clerk doesn't process the paperwork as soon as the work is performed, but instead they do it in batches.

Here's the list of available software updates showing in FDRS for this VIN:

Couple of things..your 12V battery is reporting it's SOC at 80% at 14.1 volts. I recommend doing a BMS learned values reset procedure (like this) to see if it will get bumped back up in the 90% range.

The other thing I find odd is that the system says your car has '0 mileage'....as in it's either not actually reporting the mileage, or there's something up with that system in the car. I'd contact the service advisor and ask them what that could be.
Thanks Mike G! We will look into this ASAP!

Ford dashboard is showing a high alert for my vehicle and i would appreciate it if someone can run my VIN and check what issues I might have. Also any update any is missing would be great. Thank you!

It's because you haven't gotten 25S65 done yet.

Your car had zero active DTCs yesterday when you drove it. Only some ones that were previously set but not currently active.

Here's the list of available updates for this VIN...only the PCM and SOBDMC will be updated to comply with FSA 25S65...unless you have some concerns you'd like the tech to address while the car is connected up to the laptop....like maybe your windshield fogs up a bit when it's cool outside (HVAC)...or you sometimes press the rear liftgate button and it takes a few presses before the hatch opens and then sometimes it doesn't go all the way up (RTGM), or maybe when you walk up to the car with your phone the car doesn't immediately recognize your phone and let you unlock the door (RFA), or maybe your driver's seat and mirror memory positions aren't getting stored and recalled the way they're supposed to and the seat adjusts to a different setting than you expected (DSM).

That sort of thing.

Welll yeah...I forgot about that...but TBH I really never think about that one anymore...being an iPhone owner...and the fact that Ford says that WACM specifically is not compatible with iPhones at all. They sent out a bulletin to that effect a while ago. So if you're an iPhone owner, don't expect that charger to work for you.

As an Android user, I can tell you the grass is not greener on the other side when it comes to wireless charging. If you consider a 1% battery increase every 15 minutes while heating up your phone to the point you can fry an egg on it working, then I guess it works. :ROFLMAO:

Could someone please check for DTC on (Canada)?
Codes reported/recorded are below. Of these, only the first two are active faults and the rest are stored codes. The TSB and SSM referenced by the BECM code are attached. The CMR code says it is caused by something blocking one of the driver facing cameras.

Thank you very much! This allowed me to ask them to preorder the HVBJB so it's stocked for when I bring the car in.

This car's 12V battery is reported to be at 69% SOC and 12.4V. I would definitely do a 'BMS learned values reset' and then take it for a drive of a half-hour, or more, to see if you can get that SOC bumped back up above 80% at least...and/or ask the dealership service to do a battery test on it when you take it in for the recall.

Here's the list of available software updates shown in FDRS for your car:

The ones with the red stars are what will be updated when you take the car in for the FSA 25S65 update.

I'm trying to buy a 2025 Premium with VIN 3FMTK3SUXSMA35651 and I'm attempting to get the dealer to run all software updates that it needs, now before I pick it up. They're looking at me like I have 3 heads of course.

Can someone give me a screenshot of ALL software updates that this car needs? Much appreciated!

Well you're just a rebellious troublemaker arntcha? :ROFLMAO:

I understand your desire to have a completely updated vehicle when you drive off the lot...but dealerships aren't required to do any updates unless it's something that's a 'stop sell' update that must be done before the car can be sold (essentially a recall).

They might be willing to do it as part of the sale if they know that you know just what updates are available...but then, they may tell you that they did all of them, and you come back here afterward and have me run the VIN again and find out they lied. That's actually happened a few times in the last three years I've been doing this. Just so you know.

Best of luck:

Oh, and the powertrain is 25 minutes, the doors, ACM, and WACM are two minutes each, but the CMR can take up to 52 minutes. so you're probably looking at two hours programming time.
