Peel and stick rubber pads or dots would work too. These are available it lots of stores.
I'm going to take a slightly different approach Mark. I'm just going to buy a bigger phone. One that barely fits. ;)

I have a roll of that too. But I haven't seen it in black. I don't think anything but black would look good there on the black tray.
It's available in black. I use it in my tool box drawers.

If that's what triggers them, then yes, that's pretty good. Wasn't sure whether it was locking the car or just putting it in Park that triggers the mirror fold.

Would still like a chirp option though.
Mirrors fold when car locks (that is how it woks on my Mazda)...may be some cars could do that when parked. But even if you turn off that horn sound - I dont know if there is audible sound from the doors locking (from the mechanisms) and if so that should be good enough. Its another thing if i am in a parking lot and want to hear/find the car when I press lock twice - the horn would be good with its louder volume.

I had not reset it during that picture - After resetting I was getting around 220-230 range at 100%.
I know this was brought up in another thread, but I can’t find it. How do you reset the settings for range calculation? I know how to reset the Sync 4a and I’m comping a list of things I will need to reset on delivery. Thanks

Yes, I'm hoping my Grabber Blue Mach E phone case will be better than the slick metal.

@methorian great review and the car looks fantastic after you cleaned it up. Also thanks for answering question. I'm sitting here wondering why I haven't gotten an update on the status of my car which reached DE last week.

@ChasingCoral - nice phone case. You're not just a little crazy about this car, are you? ;-) Any more updates on your car? I have a feeling we might be getting ours on the same day.

Mine’s still at the Port of Wilmington, perhaps still on the auto rack, but not sure about that.

I was heating the whole cabin, set to 66F, the whole journey. I did start with the cabin preconditioned though, and the battery would have been decent from being in my garage.

I'll post what numbers I see on my commute back home, since the car will have sat outside in the cold at work all day.
Home much range did it loose sitting at work? How long was it sitting there and at what temperatre? did you notice reduced range or efficiency on the ay back as the battery and cabin was not conditioned?

I know you're stating this tongue in cheek, but I will say, for anyone who is interested in the "fit" topic. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max. When I did a test drive this weekend, the Pro Max fits almost perfectly in the tray. It was a tight enough fit that it did not have any way to slide around.

I will also add that my case is relatively minimalist. I think if you had a Pro Max with a substantial case, you might not be able to fit it in the tray. Anyway, I was pretty pleased with how well that phone fits, and it should not require any additional tweaking with the charging area to keep it from sliding.

Well .. you'd actually be technically wrong. Although I did intend people to think I was kidding, I was looking at the iPhone 12 pro max in Infinite blue (Apple misspelled it, imagine that) when I posted that and wanted to check to see if it would actually fit. ;)

Thanks for the info. New Car; New phone. In matching colors. (well close anyway).
