I think that's your problem. I don't think your car's IPMA has the hardware for Park Assist. It's not just a software issue, but a chip that cars manufactured between April and November 2022 didn't have. That's for sure. Check IPMA part number.

Regards

Ok. I see this part was manufacturated in 2023 so no problem. Chip's on.

How do you know is this chip you show?

On the other side I'll try the parameters you let me know. That's a few to test......

Regards

On the F150 forum, one user did research about these chips. He took the 2021 IPMA W/ APA and compared it to 2022 (where the chip was missing), he said that it should be the NV7424-0 chip; my chip is the same. And about our problem, do you try initialize BCM Lin and IPMA Lin in the services procedures in Forscan? And reset at least IPMA, PSCM, APIM modules?

I reset the IPMA, PSCM, PCM, APIM, ABS, and IPC, and nothing. I didn't do the BCM thing. What option is that?

Anyway, there are some settings you told me I haven't tried, and the ones with the PA working have those values... I guess they must have something to do with it.

Forscan -> Service Procedure (left menu 5th icon from top) -> BdyCM Local Interconnect Network New Module Calibration and second IPMA Local Interconnect Network New Module Calibration

Parking sensors working via LIN, and I think it should be reinitialized, because you changed from 8-channel parks to 12

On the 20th of October my FDRS account access was blocked. I was told initially that my software install was compromised and that I needed to remove and reinstall the software...which I did.

Then, when I still couldn't log in, I was told that I had been performing 'remote diagnostics' and it's not permitted by the FDRS user agreement. Meaning, any VIN I looked up using FDRS...I had to be physically present with the vehicle.

Needless to say, I was unaware that this was the definition of 'remote diagnostics'. Since looking up a VIN using FDRS doesn't actually provide anything more than a list of available software updates. You can't run any diagnostic routines in FDRS without actually being connected to the vehicle.

So bottom line is I've been told that in order to get my account re-enabled, I have to agree not to perform 'remote diagnostics' anymore.

I have responded to the email saying that I will no longer look up VINs for vehicles that I'm not physically working on (or in the presence of).

Sorry for the inconvenience. It was fun and educational while it lasted.

It was fun while it lasted, indeed. I am going to start building a database of all the files for these cars. I see no point in respecting Ford's processes anymore. For years, we've had the ability to update most of the modules on our vehicles with nothing but a $30 cable, a battery power supply (when needed) and software that costs $20 a year to operate. It's time to normalize FORScan and stop making it taboo.

Or I copypaste info from thread

I performed the described actions in sequence, in this order.

SOBDMC
7E6-01-01 x3xx xxxx xx

IPMA
706-01-01 xxxx x2xx xx--
706-02-01 xx73 xxxx xx--
706-02-01 xxxx xxxx 8x--
706-12-01 xxBC xxxx xx--
706-13-01 xxCx xxxx xx--

IPC
720-01-01 xxxx xxxx x4--

APIM
7D0-08-01 Exxx xxxx xx--
7D0-08-01 xxxx xxxB xx--

PSCM
730-03-01 xxFF xxxx xx--

I'm not sure about the steps below, but I did it:
Service Procedure (left menu 5th icon from top) ->
BdyCM Local Interconnect Network New Module Calibration
IPMA Local Interconnect Network New Module Calibration

Reset modules via Forscan (APIM, PSCM, IPMA, SOBDMC)
AFTER ALL IT'S NECESSARY TO RESTART VEHICLE FEW TIMES AND DRIVE 1-2 miles and reach a speed of 30-35 MPH.
