First MME PP New Zealand Track Day

Just back from 3 runs at the Auckland drag strip in my 2023 MME PP travelled 16,000 kilometres running in Unbridled mode with 80% charge. After my first ever inept rn I managed a 12.97 quarter mile and 99.51 MPH, followed by a 12.782 quarter mile and 99.74 MPH.My reaction times were both0.28 seconds so in theory a 12.5 time would be possible. I was 4th best of 30 mustangs, the three better than me were all Shelby 500's. My time for the one eighth mile was 8.017 and it was quicker than the Shelby 500 by 0.2 seconds. Great fun

I didn’t know we raced MMEs here. Is that Meremere. I’ve never been to the drags but I’d love to see an MME doing it with the best of them

The Tyres are the standard Pirelli PZeros that the car was supplied with.

Yes, Meremere dragstrip on Saturday 15th November. The track was damp after morning rain, we got underway at midday. It was the Auckland Mustang Club's 50th anniversary celebration. Cheers Muz

A little off topic here but... I'll be in Queenstown for a couple of weeks in August to do some skiing. I may venture as far north as Mt. Hut. Is a Mache rental practical for the charging infrastructure?

I am not sure if it is possible to rent a Mach e in Queenstown. You would want an AWD one if you are into skiing. I feel certain there will be adequate charging facilities in the Queenstown area. The ski fields are mainly close to Queenstown or Wanaka so range should not be an issue.

Yes, the Mach E GT is a beast in the 1/8 mile!
