I live 3 miles from the Tesla Fremont plant. Maybe I should just wander over there a take a Model X hostage until the fanboys release my MME unharmed.

I grew up 3 miles from said Tesla plant, but when I lived there it was still the NUMMI plant. Do what you have to do to get that MME!

Glad I am not the only one. I think the going theory is that the train made it to KC, but palsapp is not updating the arrival, but instead the departure. There sure must be a good chunk of MMEs in a parking lot somewhere in KC waiting for the next leg of their journey.

From experience. The cars arrive at KC Palsapp list it as pending because they know that the cars on their way from Mexico. Palsapp will show a date and SPEEDWAY will be in the center box. 11 days later it will say ramp BLAH and a delivery date. You can click on the receipt and it will list 9 vehicles by VIN and color but the colors are all wrong. Once it is delivered to the ramp from SPEEDWAY the Palsapp is DONE. After that you have to wait to hear from dealer unless you know someone inside of ford that can show you the actual track

A couple comments based on my observations:
Only cars needing the "Extra QA check" go to Speedway. Not all do.
Cars continuing from KC via train will get delivered to a ramp.
Palsapp will show quite a few cars with KC as the origin and a dealer as the destination. These cars are going out of KC on a truck, and not a train.

AFAIK there are three programs. One is a Clean Fuel Rebate Program, one is the Clean Vehicle Rebate Program, and one is the Clean Vehicle Assistance Program. The first is a point of sale program. The second is an after the sale program. And the third is a before sale program.

In San Diego the POS rebate is $1500 and comes from SDG&E. I think the amount is the same in other service areas such as PG&E's but am not totally sure. In order to get this to apply the dealer has to participate.

The Clean Vehicle Rebate Program is from CARB and you apply for this after the sale (though there is a pilot program that you can use to get pre-approved in some jurisdictions). The standard amount is $2000. If your income is less than 400% of the Federal Poverty Line that goes to $4000. There is an income cap which IIRC is $300K for a family of two.

The Clean Vehicle Assistance Program is a before the sale program. It's essentially a grant. The grants can be up to $5000 for a BEV. However the income limit is $68,960 AND before you receive the grant you have to go through an application and education process that can take up to three months. https://cleanvehiclegrants.org/eligibility/

I don't know of any others.

What is the POS rebate for SDGE? I am a SDGE customer in Fallbrook I don’t know about that program. They used to give a credit but I think that program ended.

Thank you. I've asked my dealer about the VV, and all he will say is, "The car is still in transit".

I got the same response from mine, who also said that only the GM has that information. I know they can do better, but I don't want to press my luck.

I'm happy to report that my car made it before it's due date. So all of you with concerns over train travel and delivery timeline can feel better that even if it doesn't look like it, the cars are moving.

Mine never updated along the train route but arrived 3 days before it's estimate...I love all the information we are able to gather thanks to this awesome forum but I think it just made the stress more then it needed to be...lol

Going to check it out tonight...but here are a few delivery pics. First Mach-E delivered in my area of Pennsylvania.

Here is my understanding.

1. At Galpin 6 MME ALL ARRIVED AT 3AM last night/today

2. A big sale coming up for the 3 day weekend.

All of the managers were in very long meetings. Ford changing how things are going. Not sure what that means except that no one is really sure how to get things done logistically. Last week their first MME came in. Now they have 6 with at least another 190+ that were ordered last November. I was told that they may not have the logistics to do it all. My salesman is going in extra early to work on mine and I have requested others that I know there to get involved.

When I understand I will post it. I think the timing would be easier but Ford has all kind of sales going on this weekend. Add Covid protocols in a city with a tight lock down and well how do you do major sales and strict protocols. I understand it. I don’t like it. I will feel MUCH better once I have a better understanding hopefully tomorrow

Good to hear! Our only special discount will be the $1,500 CA Clean Air at the point of sale so hopefully, they will have that figured out before ours comes in.

The Gray FE is on their website now with a "Call for Price" listed so I expect you are right about asking ADM on it. Probably will be able to get it as well.
