Would someone be able to run my VIN? 3FMTK3R7XMMA21249. I've got an intermittent Restraints Indicator Lamp Warning alert and was wondering if I could get more information on it.
You got a few active faults. The RCM code is the one you are asking about citing an open circuit on the driver seat belt sensor. The CMR codes cites a possible obstruction to the driver facing cameras and the IPMA codes could possibly be related to the RCM....I didn't even know the RCM spoke directly to the IPMA until now, tbh. But yea, the RCM code with the orange dot is the one that triggerred the event. There is no TSB or SSM referenced by the code, so maybe the sensor went bad and needs to be replaced.

Going through the code history, your car has been reporting some IPMA codes and hard faults in the past without the RCM code being there, so could be more than one issue plauging the vehicle. These are the codes that triggered the hard fault yesterday; RCM code was not there at all. Very difficult to diagnose remotely. Difficult for me, anyway.

Thanks! The IPMA codes are separate from the RCM code if I'm interpreting all of this correctly. I get those quite often, usually whenever I hit a bump in the road. I think I've seen others on this forum mention the same and possibly some suggestions for stabilizing the camera to make it more tolerant to bumps. The restraint one is more recent.

You could have a loose connection between the ipma and a camera. Actually very common.

And yes, the restraint I didn't see in the code history until just now. That seems to be new.

Hey, can anyone check FRDS for me, VIN below, I had a minor oopsy with a Comma 4, started the car with the IPMA connector not connected, threw a ton of codes, everything is good now, car is fine, I reset the DTCs, in all modules with my Innova SDS50, no faults are showing, but I am still getting Stop Safely Now! on start up....I do have the dongle and FORSCAN, about to go get that going again(been a while) but as I understand it, FRDS might be the ticket to clearing this?

Thanks!

I see all the codes it reported and they are almost all stored codes now, but this one is still showing as an active fault and would cause the SSN fault:

I don't see how the Comma would have caused that, but it did not show up prior to today, so I guess it has to be related.

That was fast, thank you! I see that's stored in SOBDMB, I'm not seeing any faults, before or after the oopsy on my scanner, are you able to clear or, or can I, with Forscan? Thank you!

Yea, try a fresh scan with forscan to see what you see. When forscan asks if you want to load the existing profile, select no so it scans the network from scratch.

Well, Forscan did the trick! It found the code you saw, and actually I realize now that it was in the SODBMB module, the Innova can only see SODBMA....But when I went to use Forscan, I guess on this restart the car is happy again, the DTC is showing as not present, I went ahead and cleared it, restarted, went for a drive, scanned again, all clear.

===SOBDMB DTC P0887:00-2C===
Code: P0887 - TCM Power Relay Control Circuit High

Status (-2C):
- DTC Maturing - Intermittent at Time of Request
- Malfunction Indicator Lamp is Off for this DTC

Module: Secondary OBD Control Module B

Freeze Frame #1:
-EVENT_TIME: 38808274 s (Thu Feb 19 12:26:27 2026) - Event time
-OUTDOOR_TEMPERATURE: 3 °C - Outside temperature

Yet another example of why every Ford owner should have FORScan. Glad to hear.

Would appreciate if someone can check on my VIN. The cars screen is stuck on the 25S65 even after the car has been updated by the dealer.

Can’t check VIN numbers anymore as per Ford’s cyber security. The recall will take time to drop off even though the it was updated by the dealer.

It seems like the dealer updated some of the modules that the OTA was supposed to update, but not all of them. Regardless, that message will remain on your touchscreen until you get sent another OTA.
