I hope you get it that quickly but I would not count on that. When it is built, and if you care to, check with your salesperson. They may have access to delivery date at that time.

Hey, for anyone that ordered from a dealership, what does your order number look like? I ordered mine in the last week on April and I just reached out to my dealership for the order number. They provided me with "DXXX" code (numbers removed). I can't look up the order on the ford dealership cause I don't have a Vin number to go with it...

My order number is JxxA starts with J, two digits, and an alpha at the end

We need to get someone inside the assembly plant to accept app requests all day. How cool would that be to track your vehicle via Fordpass on it's way to be delivered to you.

I got my VIN and order number about 2 weeks after I signed and left my deposit in early April.

Wow that's quick, I put my order and deposit in on April 28th and still no VIN yet...

This is where I'm at. Damn I'm so excited!!!

So I just came to find out that even though my "in production" date of May 21st is still sitting at "In Production" the car is fully built sitting in the yard in Mexico on a "Hold created" "Stop Ship" due to a quality assurance hold for initial batch QA inspections. Apparently according to Chat GTP this is very common for new model year vehicles.

2. Where did you see if the information about a “Hold” / “Stop shipment”?
3. You do realize that this (2026) is the fifth model year for the Mustang Mach-E and there were no functional changes between MY25 and MY26 (other than reshuffling stuff into options/packages)?

3. Yup I'm just going by what was deciphered in the information from my Ford sales guy. They have a good amount of information. Acually Ford Canada told me to contact the sales guy because they have way more information then Ford customer service does.

I know things like this went on in the past. I am in a “it will arrive when it arrives” mode for my 26 GT but I think I will call the Sales Manager today for an update. My sense is there is some hold-up going on as I was notified by e-mail that it went into production 4/27 but has a 5/11 date on the Ford tracker. No update since then and the car should not be in production that long unless there is an issue.
