I've had it a month and am still finding little nice features that are cool. LOL

Okay. I will give it a try. Thanks. Never knew such a thing existed in this car.
So, I come up with some word that I never use in normal conversation and it can work the same as that voice button on the steering wheel?
No it has presets. Hey Ford, Ok Ford, and I forget the last one. (I don't have a car...yet.)

I think there are 3 phrases you can choose from on that menu. I had to move it from "hey ford" because it would activate every time I said "hey".

Which was a pain with all the bad drivers around:
"Hey!" "Yes state your command?" "ugh no there was a jerk!" "noted"

It's in a lot of Ford's that don't have remote start at all. Should be in your C-Max. Not sure about Focus, but probably.
Yes, both the FFE and Energi have the all windows down button on the fobs. Never used them. Remote start? The icons are nearly worn off those buttons. :)
We remote start our cars ALL the time during the summer.
(Not telling you anything you don't know though....you suffer through it here with the rest of us.) :)

Same here. There is so much stuff on this car that it's going to be a while before I feel like I have figured out most things. Kinda fun though.... :)

Below is a photo of the screen. I have to admit something. “HeyFord” and I had a bit of an argument yesterday. I asked her to find Radio Classics on SiriusXM and she said she couldn’t do that, then asked me for the number of the channel. My reply was that if I knew the number, I could find it myself and wouldn't be asking. We haven't spoken since. ? Am I having too much fun with this vehicle??

If I want an argument while driving then I just invite my wife to come along.....

No physical switch for Max A/C.
Have you tried the Max Defrost button in the lighting control cluster? Maybe not as good as Max A/C, but it should move a lot of exterior air and start the cooldown. The wording in the owner's manual makes it sound like defrost will cool according to the temperature preset.

I have not. Will give it a try....just assumed it would heat the car but like you say maybe not.
Great suggestion! :)

I’d be in trouble if I set the wake word to be “Hey FordPass.” Sounds too much like something I say frequently while driving... “Hey dumb@$$”

That list of "dis-likes" just got a lot shorter.

  1. Front trunk is handy......especially when I need to transport something like a small roasted chicken from Sam's Club and don't want it to smell up the cabin. :)
General Observations:
  1. The front door glass will need to be tinted. I can tell it's going to be brutal when summer comes so I'll have to get that done soon. I was hoping the special coating that Ford says is on those windows would avoid the need for tint but no such luck. Not here in Arizona at least.
  2. Washing this car is much more labor intensive than I expected. I know it is a larger car but that isn't really the reason. The issue is there are so many places for water to gather that I have to spend a LOT more time with compressed air to clean out all those cracks and crevices.
  3. I can't keep the First Edition door sill nameplate clean because my foot keep banging into it when I exit the car.
1 - I love the idea of keeping food out of the car when it's stinky... Friend chicken is one of those.

2 - Washing, you are right, lots of cracks and crevices, take a good amount of time to clean it right.

3 -I find it's easy to scuff too, I haven't done it on mine but I can see where it's going to happen.

Glad you love it, I dropped mine off for PPF today, should get it back next Sunday.

L Mode is awesome! It is SOOOOO much better than in my FFE or Energi. Since I rarely use 1PD, I find the more aggressive regen on demand very useful under some scenarios. (with 1PD enabled then "L" is disabled)
Oooh, I've forgotten to even try "L". So I assume it kicks in stronger regen? How much regen would you say compared to 1PD and Unbridled?

I'm trying to get a gauge for all regen levels. So far my estimates are:

1PD = 100% max regen
Unbridled = 75% regen
Engaged = 25% regen
Whisper = 0% regen

Where would you say "L" falls on that scale? I'd love it if it were maybe 50%.

Again. As each day passes, I learn more stuff that sometimes crosses something off that list. :)

No clue because I dont use 1PD. From what I remember it is in between Engage and Unbridled.
