FordPass app is as buggy as I had heard. I got the latest OTA update and now the app reports the charge cable is ‘plugged in , not charging’ .There’s no cable plugged in. And it still reports my car at being located at a dealership I’ve never been to. Friggin awesome.

Hi all, 2 queries;

1) Did anyone have issues supplying the correct information for the OLEV charging grant? Going through it with Smarthomecharge.co.uk and they are saying I need the order confirmation form with my signature. However, correct me if i'm wrong, but the order needed just an electric signature and I don't have a copy I don't think? It was back in Jan so I may be wrong!

2) I ordered in Jan and I am now due to pick up in July. The rate at order was 4.9%. Am I fixed at the rate at which I ordered, or does the rate at the time of pick up apply?

Many thanks in advance, Paul

Some pings to my tappsDateTime numbers yesterday afternoon and this morning, which would correlate with the loading and unloading of the Celeste that arrived at Dagenham this morning. Keeping everything crossed!
Sounds promising. I had 3 changes yesterday, but nothing today (yet), and no change to f12 data.

That's awesome! Hopefully these cars arriving in Dagenham will push our two orders out to dealers. They have been sitting in Dagenham for three and two weeks respectively!

Hannah keeps telling me they are schedule to leave today/tomorrow on three different occasions. Each time it never ends up leaving! Had really hoped to get the car half term week to get used to it but Ford have other ideas!

I had same issue, I managed to get it sorted by having Ford request the dealer process the countersigned Electronic Signature Document...... The story didn't end there though as my deposit was not reflected on this Signed Order form. After 2 months of pushing I managed to get my dealer to send an invoice showing the deposit aswell.

I think I now have the paperwork to execute on the quote from Smarthome charge back in March..... will let you know how I get on.

Im sure I saw something from Ford confirming that if they did not reach agreement with the government re the £3K grant thenn Ford would cover it for orders prior to March. I can't seem to find it now, does anyone have it?

Thanks for replying. So did you speak to the Ford concierge team to get the countersigned electronic signature doc or did your dealer obtain this for you? I've requested it all from my dealer via email but i'll wait and see what they respond with first.

Thanks again

Ford’s official response on the finance rate is that 2.9% is for new orders only. ?

I’ve now emailed Hannah and am also escalating through my dealer who are being as supportive as possible.

My argument is that Ford only agreed Finance with me yesterday and I should have been eligible for the current rate. To do anything else on Ford’s part I would consider bad business.

'Ford are able to confirm that eligible Transit Custom PHEV and Mustang Mach-e customers that have confirmed orders for eligible vehicles upto and including 17th March 2021 will benefit from the Plug In Grant they would have expected when they placed their order, either through the previously announced Government provision or Ford.

Please feel free to contact me on 0203 564 4444 or by email at [email protected] for further assistance.
I look forward to hearing back from you.'

I used this distro to get it fixed, they were very helpful. I simply made it their problem and they fixed it with the dealer - [email protected]

Right then. I have had my car for a week now. RWD ER. The only issue I have had so far is that after setting up my remote vehicle setup in Ford Pass app and my Ford account after sending to vehicle my car hasn't/can't receive it. Not really an issue as I set up what I could manually. Can't put a profile picture up though.
Driving experience. One word AWESOME. Now this is purely a personal experience, some of you might have differing opinions. Ride is quite firm, which I like. It is almost the same as my previous car, Kuga ST Line X, and I loved that. It doesn't seem to 'wallow'. Driving position is good as well. It is fast too so if you already have points on your licence you might get a few more if you aren't careful. I haven't got any complaints about build quality. No rattles, squeaks, buzzing or odd noises. OPD is fantastic. So far the only time I have touched the brake pedal is to turn the car on and put it into gear. Have hovered over it a couple of times but didn't need it. My 4 year grandson wanted to go for a ride. Got his seal of approval. My wife loves it too.
Overall, my expectations, which were high, have been totally exceeded. Getting to the position I am in now has been a very long 15 months, ups and downs, many speed bumps and just general apathy from Ford regarding communication. BUT IT HAS BEEN WORTH ALL OF IT. Those of you who are getting yours soon, enjoy the experience. I am sure you won't be disappointed.
HI Grahame, I'm glad your enjoying the car and that all is working good, have you managed to find out more on the range I know RWD ER the one you have has an official range of 379 miles but that can never be achieved, I was thinking about 320 or maybe less might be wrong, any updates on this would be awesome. Thanks
