I have bought 6 Ford vehicles since 2002 and hate to say it but every dealer in some way has tried to, or has, taken financial advantage of me or has cost me money from ignorance about the product they're selling. It's really despicable. I will not be sorry when the dealership model goes away.
I straight up let the salesman know his bullshit and the finance manager's is the reason why I use lease brokers (check Leasehackr) He never mentioned Ford options, despite asking 5+ times about the tax rebate only to be told... "It can be done, just contact a CPA, and do it legally."

What? Lying sack of shit should have let me know about Ford Options. When I let Ford know on the survey how I felt about this, I got an email and letter from the 'Sales Manager' who offered nothing... just a... oh sorry - then glad we could work things out. We didn't.

I will love the day when all these old Fargo-esque TruCoat upselling POS' are gone.

Same deal. Every time I deal with a Ford dealer, I know I'm getting screwed somehow. The most recent making me wait 2.5 hours to realize they took a car that's 51k MSRP and made it close to 60k to purchase at end of lease was beyond belief. Oh and the whole not mentioning Ford Options, then saying "you asked for a lease, you got a lease"

And the asshole wondered why I let Ford know they kind of suck in the survey.

So I bought a Rapid Red AWD Premium MME, could not wait so paid $2k over MSRP. However, when I got to the dealership to take delivery, the Sticker was for $55,100 Vs $55,700 on the website, so the markup was over the lower amount. Any idea what happened here? Did Ford increase prices later?
I bet you that the $600 is the blue cruse included. I read somewhere that if you vehicle was made after April that blue cruse price would be included. That means when the push the update you don’t have to pay the extra $.

That sucks, I'm sorry to hear that...I negotiated my deal and waited 3 weeks for it, it wasn't a canceled order
So was it a demo car then? I thought the only way to get get one was to order one or get one that someone had ordered and cancelled.

FWIW, I don't think your ADM deal was too much based on other stories here.

Waited 9 months for my Mach E (ordered it online in Sept 2020, to take delivery with local dealer). Car finally arrived yesterday, and salesman just called to arrange for a delivery time. During that call he casually mentioned there will be a $6,000 dealer add-on, despite the originally agreed-upon MSRP price. “We’re doing it with all the new models.” Then he said it might be closer to $3000. I went ballistic. Sheer greed, and really despicable to wait til the last moment to inform me. I called FORD and they confirmed that dealers have the right to do this, though they frown on it. I’m tempted to walk away, just on principal. Then someone else will come in off the street and pay the extra $6,000 for my long-awaited car. BUYER BEWARE!
What does your original order info say with regard to the price?

I thought any ADM was disclosed and factored into the price displayed during the online order process.

Log into your Ford account and check your order.

Look for the "Difference From Total MSRP."

If that's zero, show it to the dealer. That's the price they agreed to accept when you placed the order and gave them a deposit.

If it shows an ADM on that line, that, unfortunately, is the price you agreed to pay for the car when you placed the order.

If you order a MME, and have the order and pricing in writing at time of order, there should be no ADM and it cannot be added later. That's what I did. Price was MSRP minus X Plan discount and CA rebate. I do not see how any dealer can add ADM at a later time.

As a side question, if you go further in your quote under "key features", is BlueCruise listed?

If you ordered from Ford you can change the dealership that you had it shipped to. I was having a Ford options issue and ford financial told me to switch to a different dealer. I worked it out but this might be an option

Can't say for sure. I showed up one evening and he said the dealer said he had one coming in 4 weeks, I negotiated the ADM down to $2k, which basically offset the CA rebate and then some...

I live in Roseville as well. I'm not a fan of the Automall. I almost never buy from any dealers in there, I always find a fair easy to work with dealer elsewhere. I bought my last car from San Diego. Not sure what Ford you used but I bought from Dixon. They had what I wanted and no mark-up. PM me if you need more details.

If you enjoy it and happy with it. Then it's worth whatever you pay for it. Enjoy
I wound up paying $5k over sticker to get mine a month ago. At first I was upset with myself for being so impatient, but this car is worth every penny I paid for it. The one I ordered in March and was told I’d get in 8 weeks is now scheduled to be built in September. I haven’t cancelled yet as I think my brother may want to buy that one. Anyone know if they are allowing deposits and orders to be transferred to someone else without adding a premium or is that something that is up to the dealership?

Reservations were not transferrable. Orders might be, I don't know. That's probably between you, your dealer, and your brother.
