I thought I-80 through PA was boring. The comments reminded me of this song.

I got the email and signed up this evening. I am going to Halifax later this month and see some Canadian highways are covered as is I-95 up to the border.

Yeah I never got a previous invite and never knew about the early access site. Went there today, thanks to this thread, and it told me to sign up, so I did. But then it said I wasn't eligible so it wait-listed me ?‍♂
Like everyone else I'm on the hurry up and WAIT-list! GEEEZ $60K later, man what do you have to do!

I'll be honest, I'm just happy that it looks like the BlueCruise will actually be coming within the timeframe Ford originally announced of "Fall 2021". ?

It’s really weird to me that the instrument panel in Fords halo car (this so called Mustang), has a Blue Cruise screen so inferior to Fords Halo truck. Seriously, go look at the screen captures of the f-150 and the Mach-E. Then tell me Forreally considers this a Mustang.
I don’t know about you, but my previous Mustang was pretty late to the game when it came to the creature comfort “stuff”. It didn’t have automatic lights or even an auto-dimming mirror.

I don’t think anyone equates Ford Mustang with pinnacle of technology. Heck, it’s incredible this new Ford Mustang is getting an advanced driving system like BlueCruise at all.

And the Mustang is not Ford’s “halo car”. That would be the Ford GT.

Nope. I’m just shy of 3,000,000% sure that those are different software engineer teams.
Given that Bluecruise will eventually be offered in a wide range of Ford's finest, I think you're correct.

I pre-ordered my GT PE in Canada with the Co-Pilot360 Active 2.0 package. There was no mention of paying extra subscription fees for Blue Cruise...

What does that mean? I just get it without having to pay a subscription fee or will I get an unpleasant surprise later?

I believe if it says BlueCruise, it includes the first 3 years subscription and then you'll have to pay. If it says Prep Package, you have to pay $600 when it's released.

And yes Kansas was proven to be flatter than a pancake.
One of my sons went to school in Grand Forks, ND. He has a picture of a sign on top of a small rise in the road that reads "This is the highest point in North Dakota".

A little poking fun there, but there are places in the US that are quite flat indeed.

That’s the one!
Yeah, it's one of my favorites

"Measuring the flatness of Kansas presented us with a greater challenge than measuring the flatness of the pancake. The state is so flat that the off-the-shelf software produced a flatness value for it of 1. This value was, as they say, too good to be true, so we did a more complex analysis, and after many hours of programming work, we were able to estimate that Kansas’s flatness is approximately 0.9997. That degree of flatness might be described, mathematically, as “damn flat.”"

And when, exactly, we’re going to have to pay the subscription? Those seem like the two pertinent questions.

Am I the only one who has no interest in BlueCruise? I received the invite but I am not going to sign up. I just don't trust these type of systems. Before I got my MME, I had a multi-day test drive with a loaner. I was going down the highway with the intelligent cruise control (where it adjusts for the local speed limit) on at 70. Suddenly, as I was approaching an overpass, the car thought the speed limit changed to 45 and braked HARD to get the speed down. Luckily there was no one around me or it could have been ugly. I'm not sure why it thought the speed limit changed, but my best guess is it picked up a speed limit sign for the access road that was running along side the highway.

Anyway, I just don't trust this type of software yet and I am much more comfortable driving myself. Am I the only one who feels this way?
