So my GT is coming to the Chicago area. Palsapp showed they received it and moved it to be loaded on Norfolk Southern on Monday 8/16. Saw a vehicle visibility report today that showed it arrived in the Chicago terminal on 8/23 at 5:15 PM. Was hoping they would truck it to the dealer today but no such luck. Hoping they can get it the 45 miles to the dealer in a few days.

*fingers crossed*

I am quite surprised that no one has posted a video yet of the GT. Are new owners under an embargo with Ford?

Today Palsapp changed from Pending to "Dispatched on Aug 24 2021" My dealer texted today to say it is due any day now!
Congrats, man! It’s great to see some long time members about to finally take delivery of their GTs. ?

Mine went from 2 Oct to 31 Oct to no date for the ETA. WTHeck is going on?
Unfortunately, an estimated delivery date doesn’t necessarily mean much until the vehicle has been release from the plant and in marked In Transit. Having no date might just be the most honest answer if there is simply too much uncertainty about when more chips will be available.

There are a number of orders in the system that are still marked In Production, and yet have ETA dates that came and went up to two weeks ago. Dozens of others in that state have claimed arrival dates in late August or early September. Most of these have no hope of being accurate.

Mine was scheduled for production on the week of August 9th, but no news thus far.

Earlier this week, Palsapp changed and had my destination & destination name as my dealership (before that it was null) and now it's changed back to saying null & pending. Tracking says I was supposed to expect delivery on 8/28 but I have a feeling it's not going to happen by then - we'll see! Much like everyone else, I am sure getting antsy!

My GT PE VIN starts with 3FMTK4SX5MME. Of course with the minimum of 6 week delay means who knows when it will ship. Ford is doing zero communications to buyers.
That’s my biggest complaint, Ford just be honest with us. We’re grownups, knowing what’s going on is far better than not saying a thing.

Lol the other guy with his GTPE after all this time isn't going to be the first videos up online after all.
That’s what happens when you hold out due to greed but have no real avenues for monetizing

The problem is that the little bit of info they have out out is vague, non committal and confusing. They don't seem to think there is any value in detailed communication. I guess they figure the cars will sell no matter what, so why bother trying . . short sighted view.

Three more hit dealerships late yesterday. Two arrived very near me at Varsity Ford in Ann Arbor, Michigan and another I think I mentioned awhile back that was en route to Suntrup Ford in Kirkwood, Missouri.

Regarding the embargo speculation, I had also begun to wonder whether Ford has stepped in and asked dealerships / owners not to share yet. I've never seen this much silence associated with vehicles that are already out in the wild. We still have not seen a single picture of the other four delivered last week. What happened to them? Usually with a new vehicle like this you have multiple dealership employees Instagramming them as they start to come off trucks around the country. And of course you also have owners posting threads on forums like this one. But we've seen just one so far. One conceivable explanation might be that Ford got caught completely off guard and shut things down. Or, maybe that first delivery should not have happened to begin with, and the other four are still being held by the dealerships as they had perhaps been requested to do from the beginning.

We'll see if these newest three deliveries result in public commentary / pics / video today. And, at least two long time forum members should be receiving their Mach-E GTs as early as today, and certainly by the end of the weekend. If they go silent, we'll know something's up. :) Of course, the media embargo could lapse by then as well.

Great write-up. I don't believe there is any conspiracy but rather think the people that have received their GT's are just too busy to post anything right now. I'm with you however, we should have more stuff but we just don't. I'm checking just about every hour. :)

I might be wrong, but it also seems to have been a while since any new GT's have left Mexico? A lot of sitting around, even aside from the ones waiting on chips.
