Everyone needs to stop being so glass is half empty, the GTPE isn't competing against the MYP and failing miserably, it's competing against the Chevy Bolt and succeeding quite well.
Oh yes. The GTPE is more spacious, better looking, and can take you to the nearest Wholefoods in roughly the same amount of time.

Well, there is no Plaid X as yet to run numbers but the S Plaid does low 9s@150. If that is all you want then I’m sure an X Plaid will work.
Me, I’d get a nice 1-2 yr old AMG E63 S Wagon and let Eurocharged or RennTech hook me up with 800WHP/950WTQ for about $8-10K or so. Run high 9s at 140ish and drive it for 3-5 years. Put it back stock and sell it for more than I paid as ICE monsters disappear.
E63 Stage 1 Turbo upgrade costs $17k from RennTech and you prob will need trans tune too. Plus any other supporting mods and installation you are well into $20k. And even then you’re looking at low-mid 10’s, no warranty and still slower then the Plaid. Good luck.

I don't know if there's any way to search dragy to see if any MYPs have done 70-90 but C&Ds MYP test has its 50-70 at 1.8 seconds.
MYP does 70-90 is 2.63 / 310 feet

Just wait for the software update. Coming soon! Anyone notice how when you start the GT you get the same animation as the standard mach e and it even shows the normal mach e grill? Nothing from the GT model is shown. These early GT's are basically running pre production software. My guess is the motor mapping is the exact same as the 4x models. So the car thinks it's a 4x by it has a bigger front motor. I have total confidence this will run side by side with a model y performance after the update.

Good thing I’m not in the market, but Eurocharged could get me what I’d want for $10K. And, I don’t care about slower than a Plaid, because they’re ugly af and after almost a decade still built worse than Hyundais in the ‘80s. They reflect Dear Elon perfectly, great tech, great numbers in some cases (acceleration), outright lies in others (EPA range) and a total disregard for all of the manufacturing lessons the legacy automakers have learned over the past century. Who needs continuous improvement when you’ve got Twitter? Amirite?

Oh yeah, almost forgot. FSD stands for fucking stupid donors. Because even Tesla says it doesn’t really mean full self driving when they respond to regulators. ?
