Funny how looks can be so subjective! The Polestar 2 looks gorgeous to me and if it weren't for the fact that there's a $10,000 Chinese tariff that brings the price up to $59,000, it'd be pretty good as a Model 3 alternative and possibly even the MME.I don't like the looks of the Polestar 2 at all. Hard pass. Wish them luck though. Competition is good.
Same feeling about the Volvo XC40 Recharge (using the same platform). Volvo made the configurator available in Europe some time back so I am guessing very few will make it stateside. For a car that is supposed to start delivering in September, there is remarkably little information about car specifications available at the Polestar web site. Or am I missing something?
Even though it has a hatch in the back, it more resembles a luxury sedan to me than a crossover. That's just not what I'm looking for.I don't like the looks of the Polestar 2 at all. Hard pass. Wish them luck though. Competition is good.
It has that price because the cutoff for the $2,000 rebate from California is $60,000 msrp.Volvo announced the Polestar 2 US price will start at $59,900 before any tax credits, etc.
An interesting number.
Not in my opinion. I would not want Google or Android being the overall operating system in ANY car I would consider. Much prefer the operating system being something else (like Sync) with the ability for Android auto or Apple CarPlay. The privacy concerns with Google and Android are just too many to ignore.I believe that it is a very bright move from Polestar (Volvo) to get Google on their car!!!!
