Am I still allowed in this thread? My GTPE is now just sitting in the frekin parking lot less than an hour from my house after reserving the thing 2 years ago. Waiting is NOT EASY these last couple of days, especially on the weekend without work to distract me.

You are allowed until you take delivery then you will promptly be shown the door

I'm pretty sure that's most other threads on here already

Some good news that may solve my grumpiness, but I got an email today (from Ford) that said my car is successfully built with an estimated delivery of November 22-28. I thought it too good to be true because I had expected March 2022 with the additional six week delay email from a few weeks ago. I went into the dealer to confirm and they told me it's likely legit on the date. I'm cautiously optimistic, but to anyone out there, once you got this email, was the actual delivery pretty close to the email estimate after build?

Unless some Ford magic has happened recently acquiring chips there is no guarantee for arrival times. Not saying your email isn’t legit, you may luck out. Fingers crossed.

my mme sat for 7 weeks waiting for the (supposedly) chip. Don’t know where it sat. But it did. finally got positive news a few weeks ago stating (like you) an arrival date between oct. 28 and nov. 6. Yay! I would have preferred a late build and less sitting, but at that time they were really backed up. Hope the batteries are ok.
let’s hope the next year isn’t as bad. I will post on this thread if I get even better news! Good luck!

Mine is pretty good about getting back to me on the same day but is responses are brief, incomplete and littered with typos and he always seems kinda cagey when I bring up Ford Options.

He was a pro golfer before he started selling cars but that doesn't explain anything.
Beware if he complains about his arm!

Cool, congrats!

My GT-PE was completed and “shipped” over a week ago with the same delivery window. I’m guessing the train carrying mine will roll by you 2 or 3 days before your train arrives.

The eta dates all seem to be conservative by at least a week it appears.

My window sticker has also stopped showing.

You know you’ve been waiting a while when your 2-year-old playing with her friend’s car-carrier toy says “Daddy’s new car is going to be red and it’s on a train.”
Worse I've been checking where my car was on the train so much that my 7 year old sketched daddy's car on the train yesterday. I believe it's riding behind a cybertruck, he's obsessed with that ugly thing.

Because the cybertruck only exists in a child’s imagination and coincidentally also looks like a child’s drawing come to life

I hope that's true. I could be taking my Thanksgiving turkey for a death ride if that's the case (to tenderize it before smoking it).

Cybertruck: Ewwww. Possibly the third ugliest automotive creation of all time. That doesn't mean that I'll be getting an F150 Lighting, though. Still PO'd at Ford for this reservation/order/production delay/complete lack of communication fiasco on the MME.

Teacher here: that's a really good drawing for a 7 year old!
