After 1.7.1 looks like app catalog has no apps? Says no apps in your region. It’s missing from ford pass as well. I never tried it but pretty sure that menu was in ford pass before this update. May be I am confused.
I've never seen anything in app catalog, ever.

Well, electronic front trunk release is totally useless unless it’s available from outside the vehicle. The in-vehicle electronic release is either inside the front trunk (which is pretty inconvenient), or buried in the menus (which is just as bad). I may as well keep pulling the 1980s hood release.
Wait, there was an easier way......I'm sure someone will remember..... but after turn the car off and before you open the door....I believe you push the volume knob twice or something like that and the section of the menu to simply open the Frunk pops up. Makes sense since this is the time you want access it anyway....

Did anyone ever figure out what the change to the battery symbol is?

Sure it means you should absolutely postively NOT use your battery under any circumstances at any time.

Sorry but you'll just have to park the Mach-E and never use it again.

Or it could just be some goofy icon change and Ford just wants to confuse everyone that notices.

Are you parked at the moment when you took the pic? Perhaps its saying you're not using the battery at that time and when you start driving it will change back to the normal battery icon? Or perhaps that is indicating that the trip meter isn't calculating that value at that time (due to mph=0)? (Just some guesses based on the "not" part of that image.)

If that is the case it seems strange that Ford would resort resources to changing an obscure icon on a random screen to be dynamic when there are greater issues afoot (of course it may have been a "hmm hey I can do this!" moment from a programmer while they were in the trip meter code fixing something else {like the reset issue}).

It's not dynamic.
Ok then. Interesting that they would choose an icon with the "not" symbol in it.

My guess is that they wanted to change away from the prior battery symbol because that value isn't necessarily a "battery only" item.

I second this. We have a ton of blank space around our Profile picture at the top of the screen, let us drag some shortcuts up there!
So I was just watching a video on the F150 lightning, and noticed that next to the profile button there is what looks like an Alexa button. So maybe this is a sign more buttons will make their way to the top bar

I hope that if I don't enable Alexa, it won't clutter the top bar with stuff like that that I never want to use.

I see a dedicated button for A/C on or off. That's nice. Still have to go to the detailed page for recirc on/off though.

Like the Alexa comment, it'd be great to be able to show/hide options in my driver profile.

My GT was delivered to my dealer today. Looks like tomorrow I'll be swapping my FE for the GT.

But, in doing so I added the GT to my fordpass and got the pop-up to setup my profile. I can confirm that during the profile setup you do get to choose radio presets. Including AM and FM.
This was absolutely something I wanted to do when I was doing my setup. It's nice to see that happen now for new folks since setting up presets is one of the first things I bet a lot of people do.

I have strong memories of renting European cars (e.g. VWs) that use the "circle with a line" like that on their mileage screens to represent "consumption rate". I've assumed that's what's happening here.

For example, here's a random VM dash picture I found online:

Looked at FordPass tonight and saw a red “1” notification. Got excited, thinking maybe I got 1.7.1. Nope, just an alert about the windshield recall…third dealer trip in 3 months coming up.
They should give everyone with the recall a free 2nd FOB.

not gonna lie, I play 2048 on my watch to fill time a lot when my phone's not handy. that said, I'm not sure when I'd be in the car without my phone, given PaaK and all.

Interesting that "Notes" is "Sketch" here.
