Transit Date is the estimated number of days from loading it on a train in Mexico until it will be delivered to the dealer. Note that this estimate does not seem to be used in calculating the estimated delivery dates, but it may be more accurate to calculate an estimated delivery yourself using that number, barring any number of possible delays along the way (as we've read about in this thread and others on the forum :-/).

I just got my VVR and found out my car finished being built August 19 but didn't get a chip until September 30. Then didn't get shipped until October 20!! WTF!!! I put a reservation in July 2020. Come on Ford!!!

Does your VVR have any current location? Mine was also shipped on October 20 but it appears to be in a black hole.

From what I understand it takes 10 to 14 days for the train to KC. So any day now.

Slowly approaching my expected delivery window (November 10th - 16th). Palsapp shows my car delivered to the Argentine ramp October 26th, so ? I might actually get it within the delivery window. Not sure what the Kansas City to Seattle area timeline looks like.

My experience once it hit KC (10/1) was:

• Kent rail yard 10/15
• Dealer 10/18.

They found some issues during PDI so had to wait until 10/27 to pick it up.

Mine got delivered to the Argentine Ramp on 10/24. Delivery window in the SF Bay Area is 11/23-11/29. I am in the post-KC information black hole Right now, but another forum member was able to find my car by rail car number and found that it hit Winslow, AZ today. Probably 8-14 days out from here for mine.

I just got off the phone with my dealer. He calls and asks "whats your order number again?" I think to myself you should know it, but oh well here you go.

Then he says "thank god, I was afraid I was going to have to give you the worst call of your life."

They got a Mach E GT delivered today but the steering was all f'd. Turns out when the wheel turns it makes this god awful noise and it has to be sent back to Ford to get fixed.

Thankfully it's not mine, but I feel for who ever is the person who's car it is and they now have to wait for the car to get shipped away, fixed and shipped back.

I waited 6 weeks for chips while others who ordered after me got built and shipped. And, waited 6 weeks for delivery while others shipped later got delivered. I just cannot understand how a car company can operate like this.

I reserved mine on 11/6.

IF and only IF everything goes smoothly I'll see my car in the next 2 weeks maybe 4.

But I'm looking at possibly 13 months or more from reserve to sign... :/

Reserved Jan 2020, should I be angry if you get yours first ????
