Heh, it's just like us watching those non-reservation orders from June get delivered while our cars haven't even been produced. No rhyme or reason. Some people will defend Ford by saying it's "EV state" (baloney - I'm in the biggest EV state) or by saying "Dealer Allocation" (there are guys like @Plutoman15 who reserved 23 months ago still waiting for their cars while these non-rezzies already have delivery). There is absolutely no sense at all in this kind of stuff.

I feel for you. You've certainly been delayed more than me. I was only postponed twice and that was bad enough. ??

Agreed a lot of us are just saying, ford does not go straight by reservation. There is no explaining some of it. I do know they built 2021 gets together which I think explains why some gt reservations came ahead of non gt. Is it right? Probably not, but it is what is. I also suspect some dealer shenanigans. I don’t know why but it almost appears that I have two cars under my order. I did not order two. I wonder if my dealer is trying to get extra allocation or something.

I wouldn't be surprised if those "non-reservation" cars are for the dealers to add a premium markup. Get an extra 5K to 10K ADM.

Sorry to hear the bad news but yeah at least u have it or have seen it. I think mine is a mythic orange thing afloat out over the sea never to be found or seen or did it even ever exist

I more or less confirmed with my dealer that they somehow got two cars associated with my order. Since they couldn’t change my order the placed a new one and both have a build date of January 10th. I also wonder if stuff like this is causing other delays for people, if dealers are doing some weird stuff like this.

Heading to the dealer as soon as they call back to say they've found the keys (somehow they lost them). I did the whole pre-purchase thing on the website last night. Let's see if that does any good. Wish me luck!

You’re not alone. I’m right there with you at 10/4 but with a premium. I’ve seen a decent amount of us floating around the forum. I’m also seeing some people from 10/11 and 10/18 in a similar situation. Hoping that means that when the chips do come in, we’ll get some kind of priority being before them. But in the spirit of grumpiness, hey who the f knows lol

My chip hell was from 8/30 to 10/7. Now, my shipping hell started on 10/21 with perhaps a December finish. I've heard that Ford made it worse by building a lot of F-150s without chips and now need transport back to the factory to put the chips in. This takes from the transport from Kansas City to dealers delivered by truck.
