I’m at 22k miles now and have something that is bothering me. My morning commute is about under 110 miles. I just took a picture after and it’s showing 38% with 85 miles left. I leave the house at 100% everyday. It’s not even that cold outside.

should I start worrying for the colder weather that is to come? I have a prem extended awd.

The software update that first half of 2021 production cars is getting specifically addresses these issues. As people get the update, I expect them to say that the GOM is more accurate.

No, I’d rather be sitting there when my ICE runs out of fuel.

I‘d almost bet I can sit there with my heated seat on high longer than 90% of those vehicles can idle. Depends on state charge vs their fuel level. And I don’t have to breathe my exhaust fumes.

I highly doubt any updates they throw at this car now. It feels like a band aid that’s gonna rip off the next day. (Paak comes to mind, still doesn’t work for me and the dealer gave up lol)

If I’m gonna stay sitting there, might as well test out the 4wd and carve a path lol

I took a little round trip out to NY yesterday. 112 miles using 55% of the charge on my standard range AWD.

It was 48 degrees leaving the house, with the car charged to 100% showing 180 miles. I preheated the car while on the plug so I didn't use the heat on the way out, which is downhill all the way from 1200' elevation and the average was 4.4MPK on the trip out. Coming back it was down to 38 degrees. Uphill all the way back with the heat on 68 auto, plus the temperature steadily dropped as elevation went up (down to 32), the average was 2.8MPK on the return trip.

I'm pleased with the performance, as long as it's no colder than 30 degrees. From 40-50 degrees, I believe I'll still get the rated 211 miles out of my car.
