OTA 1.7.1 Stuck, anyone else have issue updating?

This is the original version from the factory on early cars. You have not gotten a sync update yet.

That is the version my FE had from the factory.

So... I went backwards? At one point, I had 1.4 then 1.6. I got the Customer Satisfaction updates this week. WTF?

And why does it say I'm up to date when there are at least 3 upgrades after it?

The updates we've received to date can be installed in any order. It's fine. (For now.)

Mine is also February 2021.

Mine is also February 2021. I attempted to install 1.7.1 early November. Says installed but stopped at "yo". Two weeks later received notice in FP to sync 1.7.1 (which I already had). Now FP shows no updates available. I have not received any notices of successful or unsuccessful syncs.

Well, an hour later now, it has gone back to version "---" and i can't toggle the Automatic Updates switch. I guess it's attempting an update again.

You're updated from the factory at a newer version.

This is the version that cars are coming with that is about a week newer than the version in 1.7.1.

Where do I find the Chinese character?

In the release notes, where it says Ford(TM) with the TM in superscript, the TM becomes a Chinese character. I'm not sure but my guess is those with the successful 1.7.1 update will not have this corruption.

You know what this feels like? I bet the thing had a bad download, but instead of redownloading it, something is telling the system that it has downloaded the most recent version and to keep trying the bad download again.

I don’t even get that screen. My screen just says “up to date.”

My dealer has been having issues r installing the 1.7.1 update and after they worked with Ford, they decided to go with a new APIM module as well. I'm currently waiting for that to be delivered and then the dealer will do the install. Hopefully this will finally be the fix for all the problems.

I could've sworn I saw someone posted that screen that showed it displays Ford(TM) properly. Probably in the other 1.7.1 thread.
