to find out if there's anyone not trying to upgrade to an FE.

Active, but how many unique individuals?

I'm one of the contributors (I started this post), but I'm uninterested in upgrading to First Edition. It sure is fun seeing that I'm not the only anxious person, though!

Odds are surely higher (for wanting an FE) for those that are already paying $57,700 for a Premium AWD ER. Then it's only an extra $1600 from there.

Maybe, but I went the other way... was switched from FE to a premium reserve so that I can get a test drive before ordering. If it wasn't for covid, I probably could of made it a car show to be satisfied...

I thought about waiting, but my dealer assured me that I could back out with full refund of deposit if I didn't like the car after test driving it (or a demo, whichever arrives first).

Without that written (email) assurance, I probably would have waited before ordering too.

I'm not switching because I want white exterior and light interior. Also, I have a day-one premium reservation so upgrading to FE won't expedite my order much.

Reason i'm staying with my premium Mach-e is the white/grey interior also. The steering wheel has nice white on it and the interior of the car is more like 3 colors then just everything black. Plus I like the glossy black trim. I just think the black trim makes things stick out and look better then everything the same color.

Yeah, that was part of the tough decision for me. I like that accent too. I’m also not sure about the red stitching on the seats - I was fine with the all black - and I had no interest in that light interior, but hopefully I will like it. Tough choices when only seeing photos, but I’m still happy with my decision.

I know what you mean. I was torn a bit with the decision to go from PE to FE. I prefer the light grey interior but also prefer body colored wheel opening trim and body colored mirrors. Also prefer the standard range battery and the contrasting stitching on the interior. I am pulled in two different directions on this...
It should be a great car either way.

Yep, Ext Range and AWD.

FE is only available with extended range battery but I would prefer Standard range but I like contrasting stitching. As far as I know, there isnt a model choice where I can have body colored wheel openings and mirrors, standard range battery, dual motors and contrasting stitching. So, some compromises are in order for me. Still, a pretty nice position to be in. I like choices.

Word from my Dealer here in Canada is the opportunity to upgrade to a FE will only be available in limited quantity to US customers. Will be awarded on a lottery basis with details to come.

Ford replied to someone’s tweet and said it was only for US Customers

The lottery would make sense. If you have a order in and want to convert to a FE and they pick your number you win!
