I show same info as you, unfortunately. Have you tried calling the dealer and asking for the inventory manager? Some have had better luck there than going through the sales person. If it really left KC on 12/2 it should be getting close to DE by now. Good luck!
Actually, I contacted the general manager on Thursday and he gave me the same VVR info I received the previous week. It indicated that the rail car was still in the NS facility in MO.

Ah! I would wait.
I went and took a look at it today and found out that the guy who ordered it did so without the glass on the roof, which was a deal killer. So if anyone is interested in white GT in Houston it’s at Helfman ford in Houston; great sales person I’ve been working with; DM me

I'm assuming any car still in KC at this point isn't gonna make it in time for a 2021 delivery :( I saw someone in 10/11 thread said that Ford is holding all glass roofs at KC now to Inspect it was installed correct so that's probable why mine never left.

mine has a glass roof and is nearly through indiana. Another one I’m tracking with a glass roof is about to leave Illinois. Not saying there couldn’t me a hold, but it seems not directly correlated with dispatch from KC or not.

Has anyone had this happen with their order? Mine has an estimated delivery date of 12/22-12/28 and when I was getting ready to follow up with my dealer, I searched their site for Mach E inventory, and low-and-behold, MY Mach E shows up on their inventory (as "not in stock...") but with my VIN, and a mark-up of 3K. Should I be worried? I'm contacting them today/visiting to understand the situation...
I found mine on dealer’s website as well - not sure what is going to happen when I take the delivery.

Did they tell you or text that is there is no markup?

Ya not saying all glass roofs are stuck in KC, just thinking mine might be affected by the recall and delayed.

Sounded like they are trying to catch the bad mounting issue before it leaves to dealer now rather than at dealer.

One would think by Oct all glass windshield issues would be PERFECTLY installed.

Just curious - which MN dealer? Ford is saying mine should arrive at Midway Ford within the next week…
Inver Grove Ford. Not sure if I’d recommend them at this point. Nothing negative or positive

When I placed the order with them in August, sales guy texted me that there will be no markup - but seems some dealers broke their contract anyway.

Update on Railcar CNA 712351 heading to Bay Area
There was no new info since arriving at a Nebraska hub early Friday- presumably North Platte, until recently. It arrived there 4:13 AM Friday 12/10.
Tonight there was a change in information: scheduled for departure 12/12 Sunday at 1:30 PM.
Also there is another day slip in the ETA at 'industry' - Now 12/17 at 11:59 PM - just in time for the weekend delay. :(

I appreciate the stories of deliveries. I am considering using the Ford Options financing. Supposedly $2,500 incentive and a built in option to return the car before a final payment. I would likely pay it off early after achieving ownership satisfaction and save further interest cost. Who has this all figured out in our group? I would have the option to pay cash as well because I have has a long time to save up, but I have learned not to present this humble brag at the dealership when closing the final pricing.

I worked this out In the spring before the GT ordering window opened . . . Basically if you have access to the $2500 incentive and are qualified, you should always do ford options vs cash. The guaranteed ability to return for a fixed trade in value is an attractive feature given how much the market it likely to mature in 36 or 48 months. Plus, the $2500 will more than cover your interest payments. If you only get the $1000 rebate, the interest payments will just about net to zero if you put down the max down payment and choose 36 months.

Of course, these calculations assume a more or less neutral inflationary condition and there is a good argument today to borrow as much cheap money as you have ready access to.

it’s unfortunately academic for me, however, since I live in DC and DC residents are not able to participate in the program at all.

I did Ford options because 1) 2500 incentive 2) allows me to get 7500 federal tax credit vs leasing. Some drawbacks are 1) residual value of the car is much lower vs. leasing 2) interest rate of 2.5% is a bit higher than other financing. My primary objective was the incentive and federal tax credit and will probably just buy the car outright next year vs. going the full 4 years. I was also able to stack with xplan too. Let me know if there is anything else I can help with as I just went through all this paperwork Friday.
