Ok I just verified on my window sticker, it now lists "Power Liftgate" and no mention of acoustic glass. My car is "In production" as I type this

what's "Premium Regional Discou(nt)" and how did you get it?

Is this that stupid waive your foot under the bumper hands free thing? Or does it remove the app button (which of course requires hands). Because that feature is one of the dumbest “innovations” of modern cars. Fix my Air Recirculate button first!!

Yeah, the do the hokey pokey dance or kick your car in the rear move is a dying breed now. The buttons, both physical and software, will still be there though.

I got bonked in the head once and it didn't stop. It wasn't a super hard hit though. My wife and I were both reaching in to grab stuff, and one of us must have set it off. I didn't notice the ding dong sound until after I got hit.

Are you sure the ding dong sound wasn't from getting hit LOL

FWIW, mine rarely opens with a kick, swipe of foot or cane. Unless I’m using a FOB, then it’s fairly reliable. It’s a PAAK thing (but of bourse it is).

what's "Premium Regional Discou(nt)" and how did you get it?

When I went to the dealer after my 2021 was converted to a 2022 the sales manager brought up a new order to see what the differences were and thats when we both learned about the regional discount. Apparently its only a local thing in N. Delaware and south east PA. I have only seen one other person on the forum mention it as well. I'm not going to complain about it and when I went last week to just hang out and ask some questions I also verified my pricing is protected to the before DEC 8th pricing.

Just curious... is that $2,000 regional adjustment the price adjustment for orders placed before the cutoff? If so, that's the silver lining on this sticker!

In my case no its not a price adjustment, it was offered in my area as an incentive to sell more BEV's in our region (N.Delaware and SE. PA) I am still price protected to the Oct. pricing before the Dec 8th price increases so my actual pricing will be 2,750 below whats on the sticker (2k price protection and $750 Ford credit for change to 22MY)

Hands free opening had nothing to do with a power lift gate nor the ability to set the maximum height for the lift gate. You’ll still be able to set that wherever you like as long as you ordered a Mach-e test includes the power lift gate.

If that is the case that I will be able to set the height of opening, then i am backing myself from the ledge.

Why wouldn’t that be the case? You don’t set the height with a kick.
