FordPass 4.10.0 is out

So basically they rearranged the furniture.

I will note, after buying a GT I’ve noticed the bottom charging banner now says “Preparing for drive” when it used to just say “waiting to charge” or “charge level reached”. Have you guys seen this? I don’t have any departure times set.
(Edit: and no I normally don’t charge to 100% but I hadn’t yet set my charge limit when I brought it home from the dealer)

Yes, I see that when the car is plugged in (not charging) and it decides to run the battery heater. I also don't have any departure times set.

Just installed the new FordPass update for Android.
Frankly, I do not like that they choose to bury the emergency service function 2 clicks down in the Service menu. If I am in need of help, I do not have the time to remember where it is and dig for it. It is definitely more important than accessing your account.
Also, where in the app can you find out which version it is? It used to be available in previous versions.

Interesting. Wonder if that’s been there from the beginning or this is a sort of half step between departure times and “on demand” departure prep.
Probably been there from the start to just help keep the batteries warm.

Why is there still all this empty space. Between that and the giant view chargers button it pushes useful controls off the screen.

I can't say why the empty space is there, but if you shrink the picture of your car, all of the controls will fit on the screen.

but that's release notes and I swear that someone said there are no release notes. clearly these are Schrodinger's Release Notes I guess.

I just ran an update pass on my phone and it said "you have automatic updates disabled for FordPass, are you sure you want to do this" and I said "no", at least until @DevSecOps plays tester. ?

Also agree -- the completely arbitrary versioning scheme is absolutely hilarious.
A MAJOR version change? And.... nothing's really changed except the moving around of some stuff in the app?

Well, maybe the battery drain was fixed. That'd be worthy of a jump to the 4s (what happened to 4.0.0? Why 4.10? I'm so confused)

Well I already pressed yes! It looks like it's just a bunch of UI/UX changes and nothing that would change PaaK. I don't have any invalidated keys.

Although, for anyone who might be on the Android version 2 or 3 prior, updating to this version might have consequences. But if they were on the latest then it should be good.
