Any iOS users out there discovering that PaaK is somehow less successful with this version of FordPass?

I don't know if it's me, and I haven't taken any scientific measurements of success and failure rates, but anecdotally it seems that PaaK is slightly less reliable on this version compared to the previous 3.35.1 version.

I could totally be imagining these, but today after updating the app, I found myself having to start or restart the app at least three times when approaching the vehicle and trying to get in. Previously I'd guestimate PaaK working quite well, 9 of 10 times on approach.

I'm on iPhone XR iOS 15.2.1 (will update to 15.3 tonight and see if that improves things).

It's mind numbing to me that there isn't a beta testing capability for this app with users like us. For example, Vanguard utilized a different app name and tested an overhaul of their app, then pushed the new app via the normal name.

At least present the changes for comment to enough people to get comments back. Engineers and Software developers aren't the main users of FordPass, non-experts are. Having a screen to summon a tow truck be blank is a major problem if you need a tow truck.

This was never a working feature on Android.

I updated my iPhone to iOS 15.3 last night and PaaK seems to be working a bit better today. Admittedly this is only based on a few data points. It could also simply be related to the fact that my phone restarted.

Car is updating to 1.7.1 right now, so wondering if that'll have some sort of impcat (not sure if the car is the problem or fordpass)

Seems to work the same for me except walk away lock notifications no longer come up or seem to be an option anymore..

Oh maybe not, I just went looking in there, haven’t looked in a while. But the walk away notifications are definitely gone after update, I’m on 15.3 too

Yeah I’m going to report it through the help chat. I’d recommend you do it too. The more people that report it the higher the chance it gets fixed.

I’ve literally never had them do anything through there except tell me to reinstall the app and give me a case number that they never follow up on. I wish there were just a bug report email.
