Except that the problem is larger than that.@the-entire-forum ... just go into the settings and disable the Range Warning notifications

They are back in the FordPass app now, have you checked in the last minute if they are showing up in the car again? Recommend download PlugShare app as backup.Except that the problem is larger than that.
I am currently unable to search and find chargers anywhere. Major problem if I need to find a DC charger!

Yeah we talked about this on the very first page here: https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/repeated-“chargers-unreachable”-alert-in-car.14135/post-340946Except that the problem is larger than that.

You call it brave. Some may say foolish. ? It was amazing though. I got to try everything out and things I may not have locally. I actually liked all the stops(8 stops + hotel charge). It broke up the trip, made it more relaxing, allows for bathroom breaks and because I stopped more often they were only 20-30 minute stops. I have a Premium AWD SR so worst range too!You were brave to start off with a road trip in an EV! How many times did you have to stop for charging? I know of another member of this Forum that bought his car in Tampa and then drove it back to Fort Worth, Tx.
It's the internet, that's pretty much what everyone does hereOr don't and then complain more.
My favorite is the dude that says this is the biggest let down ever, three or four posts in a row, like he didn't hear himself crying the first time. ?It's the internet, that's pretty much what everyone does here
In my case, I didn't get this message for the first 29,000 miles and then suddenly it appears all the time. Never even knew about the setting to disable the notification so the solution of having to hunt through all the pages of the Sync screen to find a work around is too much effort and frankly I don't have time to figure it out. If the cloud goes down then the car should know and skip the message. I am not a software person but it seems like that should be one of the first lines of code. If no connected data then suspend all the "I can't find such and such" messages until connectivity is restored. For the life of me I can't understand why we are on page 7 for this...
Example:
Car has 300 miles range
Car checks for chargers from Ford Cloud Services within 300 miles
No charges available
Car Alerts that no chargers are available
Minutes later:
Cloud services resumes normal operation
Car sees chargers again
Car is happy.
Rinse and repeat.
Yes it's a bug, not with the car however. Nothing we can do except disable the notification. Or don't and then complain more.
Seriously this is a tiny issue. You want a big issue? Last month when Amazons cloud server went down for a full day my Roomba refused to clean my kitchen floor. It just sat there looking at me. I had to live with crumbs and food everywhere (cause kids) for like, an entire day. This is what our cloud based world is coming to. I mean, I could have used a broom, but who has time for that??In my case, I didn't get this message for the first 29,000 miles and then suddenly it appears all the time. Frankie peed in my Cheerios ?You’re usually full of helpful info, just not sure who peed in your Cheerios today.
Read the OP’s post “for the last few weeks….”
This is a new and ongoing problem. And if you notice, it’s popping up for more and more people and we are trying to figure it out. For me, it happened every time I started the car today and it wasn’t a “few minutes,” the chargers didn’t show up for 10 hours. First time I’ve seen the notice ever, so I searched and found this thread.
Sure, we can disable the notifications, but then we won’t know if it’s still an issue or if it’s been fixed.
As more people find the issue, more pages will be added, until we actually figure out a solution, not just a workaround.
Yeah, I don’t know why he keeps checking this thread if it annoys him so badly. Anyways, I actually think this issue might be fixed. The FordPass backend (the API the widget uses) went down completely for a couple hours tonight and then chargers were back on the car and in FP when it came back up. Here’s hopin, let me know if you keep getting messages going forward. You’re usually full of helpful info, just not sure who peed in your Cheerios today.
