Looks like an update for the GWM was posted to FDRS today too. I already applied the OBCC update a few days ago, so I'll update the PCM and GWM over lunch.
Yes, just saw the GWM module added to the list.
I will wait for a couple of days to see if PowerUp 2.4.1 is applied, to take a diff of modules updated.
That way we'll know if 2.4.1 is just "Horn and Lights" .

I wouldn’t be surprised if this GWM update is the same as what comes in 2.4.1. I’m hoping it fixes the bogus DTC in the GWM that reports no Ethernet connection with the IPMA. Seems like that would be a good thing to fix before BlueCruise rolls out.

I just finished the PCM and GWM updates. This GWM update was more involved than others I've done as it was required to be installed with a USB flash drive. I know that's been the case with APIM updates, but have we ever seen that requirement for a GWM update?

The good news is that the GWM update did fix the bogus DTC, so now everything is green.

Nice. I thought my car had bad hardware with the GWM Ethernet connectivity faults. Hope this goes away after this update. ??

@breeves002 OTA info post had this about USB updates:
USB Updates (applies to only APIM, IPMA, IPC, TCU, and maybe GWM)

I wonder if this opens the door to fixing the APIM not being flashable since they are doing the GWM over USB. I need to decide if I want to jump into another 2 day license or wait and not be the test monkey...

I knew I wouldn't be able to handle knowing updates were available that I couldn't install, so I sprang for the 1 year subscription. If you're going to stick with a 2 day license, I'd wait for an update that's a little more substantial.

The GWM update I did with FDRS in Nov was USB. They do it via USB because it is significantly faster than doing it over OBD. Theres also a USB A to USB A cable you can do a direct update with.

Interesting. I only remember doing one previous GWM update, and it was via OBD. I guess they probably decide based on the size of the update.

What format does the USB drive have to be in to make this successful? I'm giving FDRS updates a shot on my GTPE tonight and want to prepare!

It needs to be exFAT. Ford says it needs to be at least 32GB, but this update was only around 250MB.

Make sure you don't remove the USB drive from the car until a message pops up that specifically tells you to remove it. It will tell you to restart the car at least once, but you have to leave the USB drive connected for a good number of minutes after the car is restarted before another message pops up telling you to remove it.

What's the most accurate build date, the window stick or FDRS? My window sticker says 11/18 but FDRS says 11/28. I would assume the 11/28 date as my car wasn't effected by the seatbelt recall that included 11/18 builds as the last day. Or perhaps they did it but there is no record of it...?

Thanks! I just checked and thought I had a GWM update, but the newly added ones were RFA and OBCC. So I should be good to roll!

The date in FDRS is your official build date. The date on the window sticker is just the date it was submitted to the production line.
