I just got my CA Route 1 yesterday, which I bought in part because of its insanely long range of 305 miles to a charge.
I was surprised to get in the car and see that the total range of the car was much lower. Based on the range the car was reporting and the battery charge percentage, it looked like the car could only get a max of 250 miles to a full 100% charge (not that I’ve ever charged it to 100 - I stick to 80%).
A day later, the range seems to have changed - based on the reported miles of range and the battery percentage, it now looks like a theoretical 100% charge would get me 278 miles.
Will I ever see anything close to the EPA estimate of 305 miles in the Mach-E’s display?
Also, why did my range go up? I’ve only had the car for two days, but is it learning about my driving style and adjusting its estimate based on that?
