Lots of Tesla drivers are people who don’t know a lot about EVs, I get so many questions from Tesla drivers about my MME that they should know the answers to themselves. It really is a walled garden of EVs, just like Apple, which is good and bad.

I have a MY LR AWD and a Premium on order. The plan is for me to drive the Mach e and my wife the Tesla.

I drove Marlin to a local brewery only to learn it was Tesla Tuesday. The parking lot was full of them! I bought a beer and walked up to the table of folks in black Tesla T-shirts, etc., me wearing my Mach E sweatshirt. They were friendly, had lots of questions, and shared their snacks. The funny part was at the end when we had closed the place down: they pulled their Teslas up on both sides of Marlin for pictures!

In person and on the road, most Tesla people I meet are pretty nice and they do have lots of questions.

On Twitter, there are still quite a few nice Tesla people but there are also the Tesla cultists that try to hate on every non-Tesla EVs. They will say the Model Y is superior in every way, Ford has known for 100 years they are polluting and didn't care, there is no demand for the Mach-E, and all dealerships charges $10,000 over sticker.

Of course, I have the Mach-E name in my Twitter account (https://twitter.com/MachE_VLOG ), so that gets a bit of attention from them.

I took my MME into the Tesla center here in Denver (Littleton) to test drive a model Y over the past weekend and they all came out to take pics and see my license plate. Generally a nice crowd. But yes, i also ended up placing an order. Can’t justify 2 of the same potential problems and the OEM’s inability to handle them in a timely manor (1.7.1 I’m looking at you!).

I work with 3 Tesla owners. They all are excited about me getting a MME. It’s about new EV tech not about EV rivalry.
