I ordered a GT, starting to read and watch on you tube that the magna-ride is a much better ride. I'm 6'2 290, I'm concerned the GTPE seats shoulder bolster may be a problem with comfort. Any larger guy's out there can give me an honest opinion before I change my order? Any input would help, thanks

285 pounds, and Mach-E Premium (non-GT) seate are OK, but EV6's seats are significantly better for me. They feel wider.

No issues with the shoulders? Also have you driven a GT? GTPE really a better ride?
If I'm leaning to the inside a little, you know... hand on the top of the steering wheel and leaning into the arm rest, my shoulder can hit up against that hard plastic side of the seat a little but its not really a bother for me. I'm fairly broad shouldered, but I'm not a beast. When I'm sitting normally, I sit very comfortably and they support me well. They do seem a little firm for long trips, but I actually like a firmer car seat. Honestly the only issue I have with the seats are that they could lower down just a touch more for my riding comfort, but overall I like them a lot.

The ride comfort I can only compare between a Select, Premium and my car as that's all I've driven. I didn't drive a standard GT, but I do know that the GTPE rides significantly better than the other trims.

I ordered the GT also and ended up going GT/PE, the GT drove great but the magnaride definitely made a difference on bumpy/rough roads. The GT felt more harsh and the GT/PE smoothed out the ride.

I found the seats to be better in the GT/PE too, I was worried that they would be firmer and uncomfortable but that's not the case. They look a lot more bolstered on videos and in pictures but they really are not when you see them in person. If you fit in your '13 GT500 fine then you will have no problem with these, they are much more forgiving and comfortable.

I haven't regretted making the jump to the GT/PE even once, but I'm 100% certain I would have regretted not making the jump from the GT to the GT/PE.

Thanks--you just cost me another 6k! :)

Do you have an EV6? We're take delivery on an EV6-FE on Saturday. I'm not sure whether to be excited. It'll be the other half's primary. I think that it's insane that Kia didn't include a Level 1 charging cable with their EV6s.

Be excited :) Its a great vehicle.
Lack of charging cable is money problem, not satisfaction. On the other side - you can buy one that fits you!

I was 276, 6'2" (currently 263), and have wide shoulders. NEVER had a problem w/shoulder bolsters. My GTPE seats are just fine...although I wish the Iumbar support could be adjusted vertically. Just completed an 880 mile trip with ZERO problems.

Thanks, do you have any complaints about the headrests?

HUGE complaints...I'm contemplating negotiating with an upholsterer to eliminate the headrests and put in halo headrests, to fit my VERY large helmet (2X, long oval).

I know this is a targeted discussion for "big guys", but I just wanted to put it out there that I don't think I could not look like a child in the seats in the GT/PE. My tiny 5 foot self probably would never be able to know what the headrest feels like. ? The seats looks super tall and huge!

Booster seat and pedal blocks? At 5' I would think you might have a hard time seeing over the hood. Note that my great-grandmother was 4'10". At 6'2", I'm the smallest of my male relatives...my sons are 6'4" and 6'5", and I have a 6'7" 1st cousin. Just gotta work with what you've got...

Well how about without the helmet?
