unfortunately, it seems some of the cars just tell your up-to-date while others will show you the actual sync update that it’s running. In my opinion no rhyme or reason.I just took delivery of a 2022 GT late last night and I'm trying to determine what the software level is on the car. Do you know where can I find this? I've looked in the user manual and haven't found anything on the topic. Also, in the SYNC4A Settings/System Updates section there are choices to enable/disable Auto Updates, Scheduled Updates, etc. All it says is that the system is up to date but doesn't show what level the software is. I checked the online HTML version the 2022 manual and it has the following (which do not match what I'm seeing at all):
"Scheduling an Over the Air System Update
Make sure vehicle connectivity and automatic updates are switched on.
Using the Settings Menu
- Access the vehicle drawer on the touchscreen.
- Press SETTINGS.
- Press System Updates.
- Press Schedule Updates.
- Use the controls to set the time and day of the update.
- Save the schedule."
