Compensation for no foot activated liftgate and laminated front windows?

I received my 22 GT yesterday and I can confirm that it came with acoustic laminated front side windows. I was worried it would not but it does in fact have them. Mid Jan build. I think others have posted on here that their premiums did not come with it but could be wrong.
No hands free gate though.

How could you tell? I believe in the window sticker 2021 it said "acoustic glass" and now it says "laminated glass" in the feature - not sure that this is the same or they would not have changed it.

you can roll down the window and see two panes of glass glued together (this is what acoustic glass is - only other car i owned with it was a Range Rover and the glass looked the same at the seam). it also has the exact same picture markings such as <PVB> as people with the 2021s who posted.

Acoustic glass consists of two panes of glass which have been laminated together using PVB (Polyvinyl Butyral). PVB is an acoustic membrane which bonds the two panes of glass together to give the appearance of a single pane of glass.

They're not going to swap windows.
People have driven both and remarked they could tell no difference.
The dealership is unlikely to pay to add the kick sensor. Ford hasn't said anything.

I actually dislike the acoustic windows. Makes it hard for fast pass stickers and radar detectors to work. Love the kick sensor though. Makes zero sense to completely remove it from options.

Yes, that is the same glass as in my May 2021 produced Premium.

Most of the time it's easier to press the button above the license plate than to use the kick sensor. I prefer that, it works 100% of the time instead of 70%. I'm sure if I practiced I could get it closer to 100%, but I am glad they give a physical button and you don't need to use your foot.

I ordered a 22 on Oct 1 and have a build date in a couple of weeks. I'm just wondering if anyone has talked to their dealer about any type of compensation for not getting these two features that were listed on the website and order guide when we placed our order last year? Or even if it's possible to get them added to the car after purchase?

I'm not too happy about these features being removed.

If it is not on your window sticker than they will not be required to do anything.

When you’re carrying 5 bags of grocery’s, baseball equipment bags, luggage, moving boxes, basketballs, coolers, holding a kids hand in a parking lot, PC’s and monitors (I work in IT) it’s easier to set that stuff down and push a button and then pick it all back up?

Speaking from experience and having the rear sensor lift gate in new england…. It gets all dirty and never works for me anyways. The time it takes to kick under neath multiple times and look stupid to whoevers watching id rather just push the open the lift gate.

I don't really care about the windows, but am interested to see if our early 2022 build (converted from 2021), a Premium, was held for the tailgate sensor. Still hasn't shipped, and but other trims has.

I’m guessing they won’t. The original window sticker they shared by link for mine originally had it (premium AWD ER Ordered June, built January, expected delivery April 13), but the window sticker was updated for both features and price. It changed the lift gate to button activated and increased the price of the car by 2k. So unfortunately the worst of both worlds - converted to more expensive model with fewer features.
