I understand that it was already downloaded ... but I have never experienced any of that while I was connected to WiFi religiously every night in my garage. I even installed a repeater system so that my garage had full strength WiFi signals ... my area in Winderemer got full 5 bar 5G AT&T wireless signals all the time ...but nothing! Now I have to park outdoors at all times in NJ and it seems that the car is communicating better. I am now convinced more than ever, that the OTA does not rely on Wi-Fi nor 5G wireless signals ... but good satellite coverage. I checked on my Nav and definitely more satellite coverage in NJ, both GPS and Glonas satellites ... thank you for sharing your knowledge I really appreciated your comments.
It’s reports like these that continue to have me wonder if there’s something flakey on Ford’s side that occurs occasionally to prevent updates over Wi-Fi?
Yes, I’m looking on Amazon now for a new tin-foil hat. Don’t jump in my case ???

I would definitely trust what the insiders say about it, but one thing that IS evident is that the car can't be sleeping to download the updates. I saw there was an update pending for my car that got skipped several times because my car was off. I remote started it but the download didn't happen, but I only left it on for the 15 minute grace period - which might not have been long enough. I then took it for a 20 minute drive and the "update pending" icon came on and the update installed that night at 11pm which is when I have updates scheduled.

I'm not sure if this has been posted before or not (and I don't remember who first figured it out), but you can sneak a peek at the internal messaging that happens when you go to "owner.ford.com" to see more details about OTA status.

Start firefox and open the developer tools window by clicking the "hamburger"->more tools->web developer tools:
Ford Mustang Mach-E updates ... updates ... UPDATES !!! 2.4.1 ...2.4.2 ...2.4.3 ...2.4.4. !!! Screen Shot 2022-03-25 at 12.44.59 PM

Log in and bring up your car's vehicle dashboard:
Ford Mustang Mach-E updates ... updates ... UPDATES !!! 2.4.1 ...2.4.2 ...2.4.3 ...2.4.4. !!! Screen Shot 2022-03-25 at 12.48.28 PM

Now in the web developer tools window, enter "ota/status" in the filter box:
Ford Mustang Mach-E updates ... updates ... UPDATES !!! 2.4.1 ...2.4.2 ...2.4.3 ...2.4.4. !!! Screen Shot 2022-03-25 at 12.50.48 PM

You'll then see a list of messages that will look something like this:
Ford Mustang Mach-E updates ... updates ... UPDATES !!! 2.4.1 ...2.4.2 ...2.4.3 ...2.4.4. !!! Screen Shot 2022-03-25 at 12.52.45 PM

Click on the line that says "json" in the type column, and it will pop up an area on the right with more information about the message. Click on "response", and make sure "raw" is not on. You'll see something like this:
Ford Mustang Mach-E updates ... updates ... UPDATES !!! 2.4.1 ...2.4.2 ...2.4.3 ...2.4.4. !!! Screen Shot 2022-03-25 at 12.53.17 PM

Click on the little right arrows next to "fuseResonse", "fuseResponseList", "0: object", etc until you see something that says "latestStatus". That will tell you if an updated is scheduled to go to the car, or that the most recent one was successful. You can open up the "languageText" section to see the description of which powerup is being referred to in the status. In the example below 2.4.2 was successfully installed on my car on 3/23 at 11:14 PM EDT:
Ford Mustang Mach-E updates ... updates ... UPDATES !!! 2.4.1 ...2.4.2 ...2.4.3 ...2.4.4. !!! Screen Shot 2022-03-25 at 1.00.17 PM

No update for me so far today.
I got 2.4.4 today. 2.4.3 yesterday. The only thing I noticed different pre update was the ford pass and systems updates stopped showing yesterdays update as new since this morning … instead of staying on for days. I am thinking or speculating that new update is scheduled once this msg goes away or vice versa.
The 2.4.x escalator stopped for me as well on 2.4.3 (installed Wednesday), after getting .2 and .3 on consecutive days. I thought I'd be on the same train as @JellyBelly, but I guess not :(

Lol - there is no rhyme or reason we know about these deployments - I am not sure when I would see the next 2.4.5 - keeping fingers crossed to be again today but most likely a few days out.

I think there is rhyme and reason. We just aren't privy to the tune.

When I was going through the sequence the updates seemed to be on a Wednesday and Friday cadence....

Still waiting for something past 2.3, guess I should have joined the EA program, didn't realize I would be well into 2022 before the better updates started happening.

Today is friday so will know soon. Also read on the forum that updates show up for some between 2-4 pm - at least i noticed that to be the case for 2.4.3 and 2.4.4. Also my FP stopped showing recent update successful msg an hour ago - so hoping thats a sign as well...keeping fingers crossed

Let's put a little pressure on them. This is getting ridiculous that the first adopters of this car are left out in the cold. I'm actually pretty pissed. I really wanted this feature.
Put pressure on them to do what? Roll out BlueCruise? They're already doing that. It's a lot of cars, so it will take a bit.

Hopefully updates will roll out much more smoothly/frequently now that Ford seems to have figured out their OTA process.

I'm glad you are optimistic that we can do anything. I'm not so optimistic...
