Thatās a good indication that your dealer didnāt do all the updates.I had all the updates done at the dealer 2 weeks ago and my fast charging still drops way off at 80%, to 12 kWh.
The month and year are on a sticker in the driverās door jamb.Thank You! How do I know the build date?
What's the deal with cars built after that date? Does it just come stock like that or are they not able to change the limiter?Yes. If youāre not equipped to do it yourself with FDRS, you can have it done at the dealership (as long as your car was built before 10/1/21).
How do I find out what system release update Iām on?Thatās a good indication that your dealer didnāt do all the updates.
I'm not sure what build date started having the charging curve updates installed from the factory. Those updates may exist for cars built after 9/30, but Ford's 21P22 CSP doesn't cover later dates, so Ford won't pay a dealer for the updates on later cars. What's the deal with cars built after that date? I can check what updates you still have available if you want to send me your VIN.How do I find out what system release update Iām on?
Those numbers (both pre and post update) are below what we experience in the US.I have most of the updates done like 2 weeks ago at the dealer. Yesterday I drove 1400KM or about 900 miles and fast charged like 6 times on the way. The thing that I noticed that at some chargers I hit peak charge speed at 112 KWh (for 1 minute tops), but on average around 80 KWh. After 70% it dropped to 60-70 KWh. After 80% it dropped to about 30-35 KWh. Its kind of an improvement, because before it was 7-9 KWh after 80%.
At the same time a Tesla and an Audi were fast charging with 150-175 KWh for 5 to 10 minutes at least.![]()
