So this is order paperwork the dealership gave me when I made my order. Showed this to them and they still wouldn’t honor the pricing.

my Sale Rep replied to my call this afternoon and said the price would be the same, no change. They will honor the price on the order paperwork (I have the same kind) through Ford PP. Ford should be able to reimburse them, but it will take 60 days so dealers hate to do that. I couldn't get him to send me an email or any printed document, he said "this order paper is enough". Hopefully, they will stick to the promise. However, let's monitor the situation and see how it goes. I haven't lost my hope completely and In a month or so, speculations should settle down and we can decide later.

You can call your Rep and mention ford PP.

Did you speak with the dealer at all? I gave them a copy of my drivers license but I ordered thru the dealer and not on line. They also printed out the prices of the order and placed them in the file. Prices were for D Plan, X Plan and regular MSRP. Not sure if I signed anything either. But I do know what the Price Protected costs were.
Yes, I have communicated with the dealer via phone and email & they also sent me a copy of my Order Summary which lists the full price breakdown for my order.

All your profits would be absorbed by taxes. Even with the 5k price increase, and you were able to sell a used car, that doesn’t qualify for the $7,500 tax rebate, at the increased MSRP, you would only break even because you paid 5k in taxes on that car to the government.
I'm in final stages to sell my CR1 with 4000 miles for over $53k - it's clear 6k profit through tax rebate....

2021 CR1 MSRP was $51,500 (including destination). If you’re in California, taxes will add an additional $4,635 (9% sales tax) bringing the total to $56,135 and this does *not* include license and registration fees. If your profit is $6,000, that’s fantastic. But based on your numbers, results may very depending on locale. In California, it’s closer to $3,000 on profit if you make enough money to receive the entire $7,500 tax credit.

If you can afford to buy a Mach-E, your income will most likely disqualify you from those rebates. Also, if you take the rebate money, you’re forced to keep the car for 30 months, so no resell.

So, I go the Premium AWD with extended battery last year and Ford give me a $2,500 credit for using Ford Options. With those new prices it would mean a $7500 total increase in price for the same trim after April 12th. That is Tesla level price hike :)

sorry, but you are numbers are wrong - I used Ford Option Financing. so I operate based on my down payment (almost 100% recovery), plus I have to work on my side to get 7.5K tax credit. no tax fraud for me.

I just contacted my dealer and he asked to see my email from Ford stating I had Price Protection. Which implies to me they are going to charge the additional 5K markup on the Cali Rt1 (ordered in Decemeber) if its on the window sticker. I saw that some had mentioned a PP letter from Ford, was this automated or personally from Ford? I ordered online and only have Ford's confirmation email. I have it in email from my dealer that they won't charge ADM. With that said, if they increase the price from my order price, I'll decline and go Tesla...at least their ordering process seems seamless. I didn't get charged the additional $2K from the price increase earlier this year. Very disappointed in Ford so far.

You will want to see the invoice, it won't have the increase on the invoice, but since windows stickers are generated weekly, the window sticker will show a price increase.

You should be disappointed in your dealer more than ford. Ford gives instructions and details to their customers (the dealers). Its the dealers that are turning a blind eye, or trying to weasel more money out of people.

The "Reservation" is the stage before ordering opens up. You get in line with a reservation, before you actually order, which may have been the case for Mach-E in the beginning. For me, I ordered, paid $500 deposit and got an email from ford, thanking me for the order, all on the same day 12/3/21
Same here, but "my dealer" said the deposit was $1500. (I thought i was ordering online until I ran into the "choose a dealer" hurdle. Sheer ignorance about Ford and dealers led me to pick at random.) Later, I asked if I could place three orders for that amount, since other Ford dealers were asking $500. Crickets.

So you don't pay taxes on your Mach-E? LOL My numbers basically include MSRP and Taxes. How can that be wrong?

that 30 month thing is about lease terms not purchases
Not sure who told you that but you have wrong information: https://cleanvehiclerebate.org/en/eligibility-guidelines

Ownership Requirement
Consumers must retain ownership of the vehicle in California for a minimum of 30 consecutive months immediately after the vehicle purchase or lease date. Original lease terms of at least 30 months are required for program eligibility.

The new vehicle must be registered with the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) for a minimum of 30 consecutive months* for use in California. Any government-owned vehicle not registered with the California DMV is still required to operate within California for 30 consecutive months immediately after the vehicle purchase or lease date.
