Getting back to the topic of, ah hmm, reduced pricing, . Has any one actually received a call from their dealer saying " Hey, Ford just dropped the price of your Mach-E Premium by $3000, here's your new buyer's order with the corrected price."? I've heard nothing from mine.
Yes. My dealer contacted me that same day.

Yep, if you still get the $2,500 Incentive, you would pay about $1,826 less to Ford Credit because of the 0.9 % rate.
The payments will jump to $823 from $508 but now you don't have to deal with that $17,442 48th payment.
But do you get the tax credits if you lease? Thought that was built into the payment and you would lose the credits, no?

On the main Mach-E page, click on one of the many "order now" buttons or "configure your mache". After picking the model, drive/battery, color, and any packages BUT BEFORE clicking the final blue "ORDER >" button click on the little calculator

That will let you fill in loan/options, downpayment, etc. When filled in, click the "Calculate monthly payment" button and it will bring that view up

The calculator is in the upper right corner:

Thank you! $2,500 incentive for me. Could I use the x-plan pricing and also get this incentive with financing? I might be getting a bit greedy now with all this money I seem to be saving in the last couple of days.

I am not the resident financial expert here --- but I would think that both would be available.

The $2,500 financing bonus is with Ford Credit and requires you finance thru them.

The X-Plan deduction is with Ford and the dealer and has nothing to do with financing.

No, you do not get to claim the tax credits if you lease. Nor will you get a lowered selling price. What you would get is fewer incentives (rebates/customer cash) so that Ford can take that money and apply it towards raising up the residual value (vs. Ford Options). The end result is that you get a lower monthly payment on a lease vs. Options or traditional financing, but a higher total cost of ownership.

The last time I crunched the numbers, the Option plan has the residual/balloon at about 45%. Good if you plan to purchase at the end of the term but terrible if you want a more traditional lease and return at the end.
Sure but I wasn't posting to discuss that; I was responding to @eastern refugee 's post that the price cut was fake because they took the incentives away this morning (in his area they were/are $2500). I just replied to show him that at the beginning of every month the incentives and rates revert to defaults, but within a day someone puts the updates back in. I happened to have the calculator opened to the options rates instead of finance, but the important point is that the interest rate was no longer what he saw earlier today and the incentives were back to nonzero values.

Doesn’t that depend on how Ford structures it? Some companies have passed proportional amounts of the tax credits to lessees as lease cash and the like. I’m sure they are adjusting the back end on the residuals to compensate so maybe it doesn’t matter in the end.

Changes can be made but only by the dealer and only within the next couple weeks. You may need to escalate your change request to the sales manager or general manager of the dealer.
This document in the post below was provided to the dealers that explains that they can make updates. Maybe take it with you on your visit to the dealer or send it in your email.

Thanks for the reply.

my dealer giving hard time with no response. Reached out to Ford also with no options pointing back to dealer. This is where Tesla is making difference with experience

FYI I emailed my dealer Tuesday that I wanted to change my Select to a Route 1. He did it today at around 4:30, and just after 5 I got an email from Ford with the updated info. He had originally "hijacked" my reservation in July by converting it to an order, so I don't know if that matters

I thought you didn't have an option to lease the Mach E from Ford, and had to do the options plan where you can return it instead of making the last balloon payment, and that also meant you get to claim the tax credit (which you couldn't do with a lease if possible). Are you doing the lease somewhere besides Ford?

I have no further comment at this time but will be happy to discuss this topic later.

I still manage three SCO unix based networked systems!!!!
I did some Y2K remediation on some production OpenServer machines. In some very specific ways it's not a terrible Unix implementation. (It's not a super great one, either... but I've dealt with worse.)
