I just picked up my GT (non PE) about an hour ago (4/19/22 at 8pm EST) and was disappointed when the gauge said 218 miles at 97%. Although a bunch of factors play into the estimated range, I assumed 100% full charge would at least get 250 miles since the estimated range for the GE non PE trim is ~270 miles.

About how long / many miles did folks drive before it jumped up to ~250+ miles? Were you driving in a particular drive mode?

You could try resetting your driving history. They say that is good to do when you pick up your car. I never did it though.

I’m pretty consistently at 240 total range through my time of ownership (1200 miles) with a 2022 GTPE. It’s not driven conservatively. ?

The charging station I need is 238 miles from home. What are my chances?

ABRP says if I stay under 55 mph for 4.5 hours I can make it, with 6% charge remaining. I think it would drive me crazy to drive that slowly on I-5. But if I don't make it to that charger, I need two charge stops. For a trip my old Lexus makes easily with zero stops.

It depends on how hilly it is and how warm it is. I have found ABRP is too conservative for me, and I end up doing a lot better than it estimates. It told me I would have to stop for a charge on a 183 mile trip, but I did it starting with 90% charge and got home with 17% charge.

If you set the cruise for 65 and drive really smoothly, you might make it. At 65 mph today I was getting 3.0 mi/kWh. At 75 it dropped down to 2.8, but there was stop and go traffic in there also.

OK I drive mine like I would drive my regular gas power car with everything working I'm not light on the pedal. I will tell you that I'm getting around 150 miles per charge and that's just normal driving around the city and I don't commute. If my wife drives the car and commutes three times a week she can maybe squeeze 200 max. But I have to say that it's more like 175 180.

Do you have a GT? That range seems really low for the non-highway, around town driving. My range has never been that poor even in sub zero temperatures.

I drive aggressively....lately I've been slightly better around town (highway high-speeds still kill my range), and now I'm seeing about 250 for a full charge! Not bad since I've always averaged 235 in warm weather with a previously long-standing high of 240! :) I have been consistently seeing more than 3.7m/kWh in town lately though...which puts me well above EPA.

EDIT: For context, a few bursts of crazy acceleration (per trip) will drop it by 10 miles or so (total range). haha, but if I only do that periodically (versus every damn time I take off)....I am getting such better range.

The GOM uses your driving history to determine range so if you do lot of highway driving your GOM will be lower than what you can achieve around town. That is what happens to me. The opposite can happen also.

My real-world range of my GT was 230-250 in the winter (DC), and now with temps in the 60s and 70s, it has climbed to 275.
Update - my range tagged 291 in the first week of June when a 100% charge in advance of a trip. I get the sense that maybe some extra capacity may have been released.

100% at 244 miles seems to be constant for me.
