this would be my 5th ford vehicle and it will be my 3rd mustang.

I still own the second one. I plan to keep em both
Can we get a poll added to this topic? It would make it easier to see the spread of responses.

I'm a first time Ford customer. I never thought I would own a Ford but the Mach-E completely changed my mind. I always liked the Mustangs of the past and F-150's but never was at a point in my life where I needed or could afford one.

Never had a Ford, never expected to get a Ford. Never had a or wanted a Mustang either.

I never really got the cool factor and cache Mustangs hold.

Now that I have both.

I absolutely am not a fan of Ford. The way they are treating customers is abysmal. I get a chip shortage and blah blah blah. But is there a shortage of customer service, communication, and transparency??? I think not.

Now that I own a Mustang I think the Mach E is REALLY cool. Still not interested in the traditional ICE Mustang.

Just my two cents and honest opinion.

I’m not new to Ford or Mustangs. In order of owning:

1986 Mustang GT
1998 Mustang GT Convertible
2002 Lightning
2012 Flex
2019 Flex
2022 Mach-E

I’ve also owned other brands, but Ford seems to be the favorite.

Never had a Ford, always have had a semi for the Bronco. When the 6G came out I put my deposit down (Oct 20) for a reservation and then my order in (Mar '21). Still waiting on that one to come true, and it makes the MME wait seem like a walk in the park. Oversized solar on my house and have been in the market for an EV since. The Mach E checked the most boxes, so I made another reservation/order. Even considering the Maverick for my kids first vehicle in a couple years. Zero Fords ever to possibly a stable full. If they can ever get to me that is.

I sold my 1990 Mustang 5.0 LX, to buy my current daily driver. I still have the dealership blue oval key ring. 30 years later it will be back in service with the MME.

I'm curious whether most of the people here who are interested in the Mach E are Mustang owners (past or present) or if you're totally new to Ford/Mustang??
Not new to Ford (had Taurus wagon in the mid-90s) but haven’t had an American car since then (Mercedes; Toyota; Honda; Acura; Lexus) but Ford *so* nailed this EV that it was my choice. I feel the same way about the F150 Lightning, but where I live there would be no place to park it!

For those curious, yes…I looked seriously at Tesla but the fit, finish and paint (and lack of service) turned me off. Though I could probably do it, spending about double on a “luxury” EV I feel is not a smart thing to do, what with how fast the tech will change over the next few years.

Ford hit the sweet spot and I’m *very* enthused about getting it in two months or so (build week Is May 16th 23rd).

Never had a Ford but was interested in a Mustang many years ago. Was looking for something different and Mach-E made the cut. I am happy with the car. Of course not happy with Ford dealers, service people, customer service knowledge level, and OTA’s or lack thereof.

I had a ‘67 Mustang 289 ci that did a whopping 14 seconds quarter mile at the track.

I also had a ‘67 COBRA replica with a 428 ci police intercepter engine in it.

Next to it in this picture is my ‘59 Galaxie 500 292ci v8

Lots of Fords in the family. My FIL had 4-5 65-66 Mustangs. My favorite was a red convertible with white top and white Pony interior. That was the tip of the iceberg for him. DH has had 4-5 F150s, and an Expedition. I had a Country Squire station wagon years ago. We have owned two Tauruses for the family. We bought our children a Taurus, an Explorer Sport and a Fusion Hybrid.

Last Ford was a Windstar about 25 years ago. It was my fourth Ford in a row. Mostly BMWs since then. So far not impressed with the Ford "customer experience."

Lifetime Chevy guy. Owned a 2017 Bolt EV, first all electric car for me. Had Chevy buy it back during battery fiasco. Wanted another EV. Not Tesla, no Apple Car Play. Looked at the Mach E. Fell in love. Ordered it having never driven one, sat in one, or been closer to one other seeing one in a parking lot. Ordered Sept 2021. Took delivery April 2022. Love it.
