Just throwing this out there. There was a post on this forum just the other day with very similar symptoms as you are having. I believe that poster was stuck at a Buick dealership for some reason. Anyway they found that the MME had a pinched fuse. Once the fuse was swapped the poster said the car was functioning again.

Sorry for your troubles. I hope they get resolved sooner than later.

I don't even know what a "pinched fuse" is? Were there any photos?

Seems to me that there really should be a better fail safe on the doors in a complete power failure. Being stuck inside or outside of the vehicle could be really bad in some instances.
Yup. A hidden key cylinder would have been a welcome addition.

It was later clarified to be a bent fuse. No pics were posted of it, but at least one person commented that they could see the bent fuse in the pic (which wasn’t even the same part or the same car). And it was an Audi dealership, not Buick. Oh, and that case didn’t happen while driving. It’s amazing how quickly the Internet turns into a game of telephone.

While we wait for a post-mortem, I want to give the OP a shout-out for such a calm title for a post explaining how his car bricked itself at night in the middle of a turn at 55mph.

This is terrifying.

Imagine being in a bad neighborhood stuck outside of your flashy "I've got money" 2021 car.

Or worse ...

I drive my car up to my cabin ALOT and would be horrified to be stuck outside of my car at night in the middle of the mountains and wilderness. I wouldn't be able to even sleep in my car waiting for help.

What if your phone was stuck in the car while you are locked out of it ??? Can't call for help ?!?!!

Yep, like you reading this, I'd break the window and hop in.

On the bright side, the car is pretty safe from being stolen.

If I remember correctly, the door handles on the inside still function if the electronics die, you just pull them *all* the way back and they act as mechanical openers then, like the good old days.

Ford Mustang Mach-E Car Bricked While Driving. Any Thoughts on This A58C2EF5-4838-4013-8FE6-55DED332611A

Heres the connector. 1.8 volts on it
Mechanical failure inside the LVB most likely.
Was that metal blade nice and solid and just the plastic cap was loose?

The most important thing is that your safe. I will wait for the root cause analysis but Ford needs to root and fix the problem. This is the type of thing where someone could wind up dead for a stupid reason like the well documented 12 Volt battery problems. Lets see. I'm glad to see that Ford jumped in early on this thread and hopefully they are helping.

I'm back up and running no thanks to Ford or 4 different tow companies. After 6 hours and no tow, I decided to have a go at it. BTW, It's a pain in the ass to remove the frunk with minimal tools on the side of the road.

The wire on the right was reading 1.9 volts on the terminal but 12.5 on the actual wire. It took about 4 full turns to tighten it up.
