Will Frunk Button be released for 2021 Job 1?

The one thing I’ve always wondered and no one has been able to answer is which module actually controls the frunk release. I’m curious if it actually OTA updatable. Donna Dickson mentioned it would come via an OTA, but that was a long time ago. In the mean time we’ve seen modules get updated to make the button show up in the app, on the touch screen, but never the one to actually make it open.

This is why I refer to them as 2021 Job 1, 2021 Job 2, etc.

Speaking of vomit (cause cats do that), I wonder if I can con Puahi the cat into posing in the Frunk for a picture? And how many blocks of sashimi ahi it will cost me? Her cooperation does not come cheap after all.

I’m a fan of the frunk button on the app and also the key code to open it. I use both.

I've had the car over a year and have used the frunk like 3 times. If I had a frunk button, I would have used it like 3 times... seriously people.

Darren Palmer talked yesterday about how he hits the button inside the F-150L before he gets out, and then grabs his stuff, and hits it while he's pushing the grocery cart. So, ...

If Ford is giving us a working Frunk button why was it removed from Sync after OTA 2.5.1?

Probably because they couldn't make it work. It was added with Power-Up 1.7.1 back in September. Apparently, the frunk button will come back with OTA 2.8.3.

All it cost me is some pheasant. OK, given the amount of time involved, that much pheasant probably cost me upward of $400.00, but…

I think if I cubed up some sashimi grade ahi and put it by the drink holder I might get one shot at a picture. She’s a house cat but will do most anything for ahi.

Down side? 1/3 lbs block of ahi was $13 in the store this morning.

Yeah that was always a little iffy. Now it’s sounding like the final Blue Cruise update is going to be 2.8.3, so I’m guessing it will be a later release.

I believe that the updates are all sequential, because things work together. So, they have to get everyone to the same level before they go on to the next thing. And that is not going well at this point.

Not to mention, half the time the ford pass app seems to be afraid I am driving when no one is even in the vehicle.

This dang hate hijacking a frunk release thread (as a Job 1 owner I’ve just given up hope!) however FordPass app is dreadful lately with this warning of Are You Driving! I walk swiftly, but not that fast.
