Yay, this was, so far, an actual improvement update! My maps in the app have been bugged, when I check a SecuriAlert notification or Journey, it is always just a black map, so far Journeys are finally showing up, but we shall see if SecuriAlert is also fixed!

Seems like all they did in this update is make the Connected Services button open the Ford website.

Seems like all they did in this update is make the Connected Services button open the Ford website.

I played around with that a little this morning and I think there is a good chance ford has violated both apple and Google’s App Store guidelines, apple for sure. Having a page inside the app that lets you pay for services without using apples payment processing is a big no no, hence the Epic lawsuit. I think the rules have relaxed a little on the linking out of the app, but in app any payments are supposed to be done via apple or Google’s payment processing and then they get their 30% cut.

Updated on Android as well, although the release notes said it's 4.13.0 still from weeks ago. I think it might have been a Play Store bug since I doubt someone can manually set the "last updated" date. (I know you can't on the Microsoft Store.)

Right?? I wouldn’t be surprised if we see this quickly disappear. Even google is cracking down on this now because of Epic.

can you actually get to a payment screen in there? everything for me right now is still in "free trial" except for charging network, and that's still showing part of my initial "free" balance...

Yeah, no way this is staying like this. I assumed this was why it wasn’t accessible through the app in the first place.
