First time poster here. This winter when I got my Mach-E, I was getting around 190 miles with a 100% charge (see picture). Now, I'm getting over 270 and growing (see picture)! I'm afraid by summer I'll be close to 300 miles in range! Is the battery swelling in the heat? Should I drive more aggressively to slow the growth? Or use different electricity? I called my dealer and explained my concerns, and they hung up on me. Next I am going to contact @Ford Motor Company and see if they have any ideas. Otherwise, it's back to the dealer it goes.

WINTER (169/.9 = 188) SPRING (244/.9 = 271)

Clearly Ford must have done an OTA that messed up your car. I suggest contacting a lawyer and INSIST that they file a class action lawsuit! This is unacceptable! You have come to expect a certain range and now you suddenly get more? UNACCEPTABLE!

Now SOME PEOPLE (Ford Stans/apologists) here may try to say it's do to weather or how you drive. This is just crazy talk, they are hiding the truth from us.

That means you have the latest OTA. They put more electrons in your car, and gave you a new puzzle game.
I think Ford may even have a patent pending on this be technology for their electrons. They will trademark the term Electron+

I never thought of that, more electrons. Where do they store them, in the frunk?

Should I [...] use different electricity?
Lol, on using "different electricity". Like maybe photons from a red sun could be harnessed to solve your increasing range issue. The yellow photons we're getting are too strong...

Sadly, the audience that most needs to see this probably won't.
Same audience tends to only post when things are going *wrong* and never when things are ok / getting better.

I think this is on the right track.

Every year in the Spring, the power companies change the elections from winter electrons to summer electrons. It is just like how there is winter deisel diesel fuel and summer deisel diesel fuel. The winter electrons are designed to resist freezing and have additives that make them less efficient. Winter electrons take up more space in the battery.

Summer electrons are like Summer diesel fuel and they don't need the extra additives so they take up less space in the battery box. That is why you are going farther in the summer.

So don't worry @RickMachE. Your battery isn't going to explode.
