Which brand is that?

Its a JLONG (Amazon) but isn't available at the moment (I picked it up back in 2019 to use with our Bolt for a different reason). I actually find I use it a lot more than I thought I would.

I bought the shortest length and biggest Guage for my 110v outlet and it works fine.

I have another one that looks to be about 10ft, 15A, 125V. Would that one be fine? Also said AWG 14 on it

I have a 12Ga cord for a 25 ft run and will get 10Ga for any longer run. I know it's probably safe to do a 100ft run with 12Ga, but I've seen several house fires and electrical fires caused by "probably" or "it's to code, so it's safe."

(Yes, there is overcautiousness here. I expend my lack of caution on other situations, not electrical; I'm okay spending a little bit extra not to have to worry about going through a fire).

Someone needs to point this out : the official instructions say to never use an extension cord, full stop. From the online manual just now :

You can do what your want, and I was successful with charging my Fusion Energi with an appropriate AC extension cord even though that mobile charger said not to for safety reasons... (in fact, the first one was recalled and replaced due to overheating that would melt extension cords)

A J-1772 extension as some as mentioned "feels" a lot safer to me, but that is still an extension cord of a sort.

I got one of the extension cords that plugs directly in the EV and you plug the EVSE into the other end of the extension cord. All of those are rated for L2 charging. It handles more use cases as it can be used as an extension on L1 or L2 charging situations
