Just curious - about how long was yours in Newark before getting the status change for delivery in the United Road tracker?
I was stalking his post history for that info last night, ha. He got to Newark on 5/29. So if it really gets to the dealer today, 10 days. Note that his dealer (Same as mine) is pretty close to Newark.

Correct, I believe it got to Newark 5/29 and was delivered to the dealer today, so 10 days it seems. I called them today but the folks I have been dealing with weren't in. The salesperson will be in tomorrow so I can start the ball rolling on a few things. I had talked to the sales manager a few days ago and he assured me that price protection is in effect (they absorb the cost, and get reimbursed by Ford later) and I am eligible for whatever Options rate was in effect Oct. 1 (as has been discussed many times on this forum). My wife is leaving for a business trip tomorrow so looks like Saturday would be the earliest I could pick it up.

I should also mention that I got the "complete your purchase" email from FMC this afternoon. Interestingly, and not in line with my note above, there appears to be $5K added on:

I am assuming an error, but obviously can't move forward with that website. I'll keep you posted when I talk to someone tomorrow.

I thought it was me with 7/27 and I am already sitting in Newark waiting for a truck. Another question is who and how are they coming up with these delivery estimates? I got 7/27 when the rest of the pack was getting early to mid June and we were being built and shipped around the same time. Who makes the date adjustments and based on what criteria? Everyone person (except the geniuses on this forum) throughout the Ford enterprise are f’ing clueless. Is there a reliable algorithm based on all the random garbage inputs from an assortment of detached and stale systems? I think with the tools and info from the build groups, you can come up with a better estimate; that’s what I’m doing.

I’ve had late May, late June, late July, and late August. They came progressively in the 10 days after it transitioned from Production to Shipped.

Wow. Sorry to hear. I wonder if it would have been quicker had you used ‘V’ instead of ‘E’ in your name :p.

I wonder what would have happened if I checked the “I have an x-plan PIN” box and kept going but I didn’t bother.

Mine has been in Newark for 25 days. It was in a parking lot in Mexico for 22 days after it was built. It sat around on chip hold after it was assembled on 3/14 for 15 days. So over 2 months (62 days) of waiting has been the car sitting in a parking lot somewhere.

There is really no good reason RMoore got in/out of Newark while you sat (in theory)

You may have already said this at some point, but what configuration is your MME (trim, battery, etc)? That may have something to do with it.

Hi, I am expecting to receive my Mach E anytime this month. I wanted to touch subject of price protection on this thread for this build week. I had ordered my car in October. Most people in this build week might be in similar boat. Ford had increased prices in December. I was curious did anyone have conversation about pricing with their dealers. Those who have take delivery would have definitely dealt with the issue.

In my case prices have increased by $2000. dealers are now asking me to buy on updated MSRP. I am fighting tooth and nail to get price protection based on information I received on Mach e Forum we get automatic price protection which should be honored by dealers. Has anyone been successful getting original MSRP honored? Can people post their experiences so that it can help me and many others who are yet to face this issue.

I'll let you know in a few days when I make the purchase, but in my recent conversation with the sales manager prior to purchasing he assured me that they don't play games and that I will pay the price (X-plan) that was in effect back in Oct (and that is on my signed purchase agreement--an important thing to have). He is well aware of price protection and the two approaches dealers use (give customers the original price vs having them pay the higher price and providing a rebate later) and was clear that they use the first approach. But as they say, your mileage may vary--did you get anything in writing when you ordered?. There are many many posts about this in different threads. It's clearly a mixed bag sadly.
