I wonder what would have happened if I checked the “I have an x-plan PIN” box and kept going but I didn’t bother.
Not only did it tack on 5k, but it also doesn't take into account price protection (2k additional). You'll just have to deal with it in person. I would've used the online checkout as a January order (post price increase) but I couldn't get the financing part of the site to work at all.

Hi, I am expecting to receive my Mach E anytime this month. I wanted to touch subject of price protection on this thread for this build week. I had ordered my car in October. Most people in this build week might be in similar boat. Ford had increased prices in December. I was curious did anyone have conversation about pricing with their dealers. Those who have take delivery would have definitely dealt with the issue.

In my case prices have increased by $2000. dealers are now asking me to buy on updated MSRP. I am fighting tooth and nail to get price protection based on information I received on Mach e Forum we get automatic price protection which should be honored by dealers. Has anyone been successful getting original MSRP honored? Can people post their experiences so that it can help me and many others who are yet to face this issue.
I spoke with my Dealer, and they said they will honour the original MSRP. I have yet to talk with them about the -$350 Park Assist Prep Kit.

Chat competition. Who has the latest projected delivery date from the 4/11 group?

mine is 8/27
I have been following some of my Dealer’s ordered cars. They have a Premium that went into production 4/20, was built 5/07 and has a Delivery date of 8/21 to 8/27? Something doesn’t make sense in those estimates.

Yes, forgot to mention that, though I did of course in the email I sent earlier to the sales manager and sales associate. I'll square it away tomorrow, I'm not anticipating an issue. I suspect they just automatically do this. The final price on my purchase agreement says $54,829 which includes the $240 floor mats, X-plan and a $2K regional discount (doesn't include the $325 discount for park assist though).

Well, a twinkle of hope. Norfolk Southern let me know that my Newark limbo has shifted from "garbled" to "Actual Placement of Car." Love how these industrial terms are inadvertently Zen-like. ("Constructive Placement" "Released Empty") From previous posts I take it that this means "we are about to unload your car and there is actually a patch of ground available into which we shall do this unloading." The rest of the Do-re-mus steps look like they hopefully proceed apace. We'll see. Is United Road still in business?

Also appreciate how the FMC burner/lurker account on here is eternally positive despite all of the mayhem. They're like that guy who has been missing the whole time who swoops in at the last minute of a hard-fought battle and gives everyone high fives. "Great job, guys! We did it."

With the Park Assist piece reflected on your window sticker, hopefully not too much of an issue to address! I will say for my +$325, I still haven't used it yet. Then again, I haven't had a chance to parallel park yet...

I tried it this weekend and IT IS ridiculous. Granted, I was just testing it out as I RARELY parallel park, but it was really scary how good it was.

I don't know how often I would use it, and I only tried it because it was one of the things I had not tested in the car yet.

I also don’t parallel park much but am decent at it after many years of practice. That said it would be fun to have. I’m not sure I have the time and energy to devote to the whole ForScan process. I’ve never used it so would need to start from scratch (assuming I do have the park assist module/hardware already there).

I'll let you know in a few days when I make the purchase, but in my recent conversation with the sales manager prior to purchasing he assured me that they don't play games and that I will pay the price (X-plan) that was in effect back in Oct (and that is on my signed purchase agreement--an important thing to have). He is well aware of price protection and the two approaches dealers use (give customers the original price vs having them pay the higher price and providing a rebate later) and was clear that they use the first approach. But as they say, your mileage may vary--did you get anything in writing when you ordered?. There are many many posts about this in different threads. It's clearly a mixed bag sadly.
Hi,

I do have an order sheet which has Original MSRP on that date. I do not have purchase agreement signed at that time. They just took my deposit and gave me this order sheet which reflects old MSRP.

In my case sales rep kept telling me I am price protected and at last moment they are now saying price protection doesn't apply to Mach E. Interesting thing is they keep asking me if deal is void if they can't honor original MSRP. Their behavior is suspicious and makes me feel that they want me to walk away from deal so that they can make markups. I tried contacting FORD marketing but they kept telling me that dealers can do what they won't they can't help me.

You may have already said this at some point, but what configuration is your MME (trim, battery, etc)? That may have something to do with it.
Grabber Blue Premium RWD Extended Range. I know of someone else who is stuck at Newark going to the same dealer who ordered a GTPE.

That does sound like they are trying to get you to walk away to do an aftermarket markup and sell the car. This is shitty behavior.

I also moved to Actual Placement early AM. This could change to release empty as early as today if we follow some of the other’s historical timelines of members. Im starting my carrier research now.

EDIT: And United Road has a load number associated with my VIN and has my dealer listed as the destination; so United has me on their pickup list. It's now just a matter of when.

Oops just realized I confused Park Assist with the hands free liftgate.

Wow. Sorry to hear. I wonder if it would have been quicker had you used ‘V’ instead of ‘E’ in your name :p.
Actually, in Ohms Law V and E are interchangeable. E represents Electromotive Force. When I took physic, that’s how we were taught the formula.

I'm sorry this is happening to you. This is all I had as well from the time of order, which is certainly better then nothing. It was enough for me to get the agreed upon price. That said, I was not price protected (ordered after price increase). All the horror stories almost make me glad I wasn't, and it allowed me to focus on ensuring I got everything else (Ford Options rebate, X-Plan, no add-ons).
