Forward collision avoidance does.
No, ACC. exactly the same way as it captures the moving car normally.... I will raise experiment to 30

Correlation is not causation.

I don't see a reason why it can't detect a stationary car in front. It has a radar and image recognition - i don't understand what is the problem.
I believe that Ford chose not to use all of the features of the MobileEye EyeQ SoC package that the system offers. I
For example, stop signs and red light detection.

I haven't investigated but maybe the system is sending the data needed but our vehicles are not programmed to respond to those event signals.

“Pre Collision Assist” Aural warning and flashing red box on the display is what will prevent you from running into said stationary object.

Does MachE use EyeQ4 or 5?

In 2020 Ford announced that all new production cars would use 4.

EyeQ4, but we may not have the high chip capable of all those features, nor has Mobieye released certified safe software for a lot of those. It’s more like “in theory the chip can do this” but not proven.
