Been waiting 212 days without being scheduled. As if having no scheduled build date wasn't enough... even if my ordered MME had been shipped, California entry point at Barstow is clogged.

That's my plan actually. I pay $290/year for parking, but my understanding is, via a government grant the charging is free, so I'm looking to recoup my costs and have hella fun doing it.

Got an update from Ford that my 2021 MME went from an early July delivery to "delivery date pending". He said when the ETA disappears it usually means its close to the dealer and that I should call them.

The dealer said the car no longer shows up at all in their searches and said it could mean its close.

Has anyone else heard that this disappearing phenomenon is a good thing? It does not sound good to me.

Pretty much correct. Last year after our car was shipped it went into a limbo, next thing I knew the dealer was calling me saying it was being loaded on a truck at the rail yard and would be in the next day.

That happened to me last year (FE delivered March 2021). Dealer called 2 days later and it was on the lot being prepped.

Today is the 13 month anniversary of ordering. My car was built on 3/22/22 and just received a new delivery date (This is the ninth change). Car has been sitting in a lot in
Kansas City since 4/11/22. No chip hold, no damage, just sitting. Dealer can't tell me anything and neither can Ford Customer Service. Dealer has been working with their rep
(who doesn't seem to think this is a priority). Mad as hell and if my wife didn't like the car so
much, I would have ended this relationship long ago!

Mine sat for two months along with other GTPEs in the 4/18 build week. Randomly we all got fixed up and shipped within the same week or two in June.

I wonder if there are other cars in your build week stuck too?

You're stuck with me. Mine has been in KC since at least 4 May.

I guess I'm a little heartened to hear I'm not alone, but even more mad that our cars get no priority and no explanation.

This is also a car for my wife.

yeah. I would believe this information from Chat. You can start the insane process of tracking your car through America at embarrassing low third-world speeds. Call the NSC hotline (details on the tracker tab). Your on your way.

Thanks, I did that (after some translating a numeric-only only car number received from Ford into the alphanumeric required by NSC). It confirms the same, it's now somewhere in Illinois. The gravitational pull of KC seems to have missed my car.
